Hey, I’m hoping we could have some substantive discussions – how about if I narrow down the field of topics for you?
Obanomics – Obama is currently holding a “Jobs Summit” where he has invited every union boss under the sun, but no small businesses (or anyone who doesn’t lap up his socialist policies). I would be rolling on the floor in laughter were this charade not so tragic. Do you remember the Broken Window Fallacy we once went over? If you could wave the Presidential scepter, what are the top five things you would do to “create” net jobs (which create real wealth and promise to eventually raise our standard of living)?
War Against ______ – Please fill in the blank. Are we at WAR with anyone (except citizens who actually create wealth)? What would be your five-pronged solution to resolving our military challenges, and ensuring the safety of American citizens? Against whom?
Hope and Change – When, do you believe, that the great campaign promises of “Transparent”, “Above the Fray”, “Post-partisan”, “Post racial” kum-bay-yah Moderate politics from the Obama Administration going to begin to kick in? Please give five real-life examples demonstrating your position.
Iran – Who exactly is going to stop them from developing The Bomb. When Israel finally pulls the trigger next year, how exactly do you think Obama will react? I predict he will vote “Present”, and summarily throw the Jews under the bus publically (while giving logistic military support to them behind the scenes).
Show Trial – How many foreign enemy combatants have ever been captured and then brought to the U.S. to be tried in our civilian courts? Obama was quoted the other day, in reaction to public outrage, that Americans would be happy when KSM was found guilty in NY and subsequently exterminated! Uh, if the chief law enforcement officer of this land can guarantee the outcome of this demonstration trial for the world, how could it ever be “fair” when denying KSM’s presumption of innocence from the outset? What dream-team defense lawyer would not jump on this colossal blunder alone in his quest for acquittal – while denouncing our rigged judicial system on a world stage?
Civil Rights – When KSM is acquitted of his “crimes”, would you further support his right to walk from the courthouse to the nearest gun shop in order to exercise his new rights to load up on firearms and ammo? By what authority, exactly, does Obama obtain the power to grant my Constitutional Rights to ANYONE by the wave of his hand?
Islam – Have you ever studied Islam and its Shariah Law utopia? Do you actually believe it represents a “Religion of Peace” – or, is it perhaps something else, like, a death cult? Do you actually believe the mainstream propaganda that the Ft. Hood Shooter was a secular “lone wolf” whack-job who suddenly “snapped”? Or, was Hasan a most devout Islamist hell-bent on going out in a blaze of Jihadi glory by taking out as many Kafir’s as possible on his way to meet Allah, and receive his allotment of virgins? Give me your multi-point backup of facts which support your position. Do you actually believe there is no current threat from the advancement of a worldwide Islamic caliphate (i.e. permanent Jihad)?
ThoughtRogue: Has the left gone insane? (or were they already there?) Granting Jihadist terrorist combatants MY civil rights under our U.S. Constitution is verging on insane. And then, trying them in American civilian courts, with all the rules of discovery and evidence, and so on, takes the cake, doesn’t it?
A few Questions which “Progressives” must answer satisfactorily in this case before trying KSM and his band of cohorts in New York City:
When did OBL and fellow Islamo-fascist terrorists sign on to the Geneva Convention?
What’s wrong exactly with Military Tribunals for these Jihadi wraiths, which have been used successfully since our Revolutionary War? (and have recently been successfully vetted by the Supreme Court and Congress)
Why exactly can’t Leftists understand the simple difference between Militant acts of War, and Civil Crimes?

Direct relations were established between the White House and the Muslim community under Bill Clinton from 1992-2000, and were strengthened under George W. Bush’s administration from 2000-2008. Bill Clinton was the first to commend Islam in public speeches, and the first to issue invitations to the White House on Islamic holidays such as a yearly dinner celebrating the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan that continued through George W. Bush’s Administration and into the Barrack Obama’s.
The State Department established an Islamic website in 2000, proving that Bill Clinton’s administration was actually sanctioning Islam in the White House while the pledge of allegiance and nativity scenes were being systematically removed from schools and public institutions. Furthermore, the date was prior to 9/11. Madeline Albright formally encouraged Muslims to apply for the Foreign Service as she endorsed the website at the White House hosted Islamic dinner in 2000:
“I am pleased that since last year the State Department has inaugurated a new website entitled Islam in America.” Its purpose is to help people everywhere learn more about the positive force that Islam has become in American life and about the growing role of Muslim Americans as they are there to play a role in ensuring the security, prosperity, and freedom of our land. Equally vital are the international exchange and people-to-people programs we conduct with Muslim-majority nations. These efforts bring distinguished Muslim visitors to our shores to exchange views and promote understanding… We are strongly encouraging young Muslim Americans to apply to the Foreign Service as part of our overall effort to attract talent and promote diversity…”[1]
A 2009 program sponsored by the department called Citizen Exchange Program gives a grant to the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the National Peace Foundation to co-sponsor a citizen exchange project between the U.S. and the Middle East. The ISNA is instrumental in financing and exercising control over most of the mosques in the United States, and is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood that created Hamas. The program is apparently a one-way exchange, as it is meant to explore Islam, the functions of Islamic institutions in the United States, and the activities of interfaith work. Professionals from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates will visit the United States, and American professionals will visit the Middle East. [2]
Former Reagan Defense official, and President of the Center for Security Policy, Frank Gaffney Jr., wrote a lengthy article in 2003 describing how Islamists and individuals from the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) were invited into the White House. According to Gaffney, Grover Norquist was a conservative coalition builder against Communism in Central America, Africa and Afghanistan who he knew personally. Norqist formed the Islamic Institute in 1998 as an outreach organization, initially financed by Abdurrahman Alamoudi who was also Bill Clinton’s Islamic Affairs Advisor and financial supporter. Its stated purpose was to cultivate Muslim-Americans and Arab-Americans with conservative family values. Their professed confidence in capitalism made them potential Republican Party allies for the 2000 Presidential election.

Many Americans proclaim that President Bush successfully protected America from terrorism after September 11, 2001. Even though terrorists did not attack U.S. soil again after 9/11, Bush’s policy allowed terrorists to infiltrate and harm America with a strategy that is leading to our cultural self-destruction. Bush’s, “war on terror” was based on a premise that defers terrorism to “a few” extremists, not the Islamic doctrine itself. The premise was, and still is, that Islam is somehow reformable after being given a bad reputation.
The Bush dhimmi doctrine endorsed Islam as “peaceful” even though Bush acknowledged that slaughtering and intimidation of non-Muslims had become a global pandemic. This includes good Muslims fighting bad Muslims as in Iraq and Afghanistan. But, to protect the lives of American citizens and keep oil flowing into the U.S., Bush dutifully spoke of a peaceful Islam.[1]
A 2007 article titled “Bush Administration Moves to Legitimize the Muslim Brotherhood,” by William Mayer and Beila Rabinowitz, reported that the Bush Administration’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research hosted a meeting to discuss opening more formal channels to the Islamic “brothers.”[2]
President Bush named Iran, Iraq and North Korea the “Axis of evil” because of the part they played in helping terrorism and ability to obtain weapons of mass destruction. It is interesting that he did not include Saudi Arabia as a part of the Axis of evil even though 9/11 terrorists were Saudis funded by Saudis, and Osama Bin Laden is a Saudi terrorist who is from a prominent Saudi family.

The 2008 financial crisis and subsequent bailout might have more to do with financial jihad and Shari’ah Financing than Americans would ever imagine or dare to suggest, and the 2009 Stimulus Plan may be a plan to keep American’s in dhimmitude for generations. Though it sounds very poignant, it is a possibility that should be explored because questions are still unanswered and Americans are still confused and bewildered over the astronomical amounts of money that they will owe for generations. This chapter takes the liberty of thinking outside the facade of unsatisfactory explanations that have been given.
In September 2008 the largest domestic and international financial crisis in American history became public. U.S. banks and global markets began to decline and the U.S. Treasury, the FDIC, and the Federal Reserve rushed to the rescue with an initially proposed $250 billion dollars for nine of America’s largest financial institutions. The decision soon expanded, and on October 14 the Treasury Department announced its decision to inject $700 billion and take equity stakes in nine major U.S. banks because they were described as ”too big to fail.” Executives of the nine banks were told to participate in the program whether they wanted to or not, “for the good of the national economy.”
U.S. Treasury Secretary, Henry Paulson said that banks did not have a choice but to give up minority stakes of private ownership, and accept $125 billion each. The plan would allocate an additional $125 billion for investment into thousands of other banks and financial institutions across the country for the next 30 days in an effort to jump-start lending and encourage smaller institutions to accepting federal funding.
Global leaders agreed to launch a coordinated program guaranteeing bank debt on a worldwide scale. As part of a much wider plan extending way beyond $700 billion, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) created an insurance fund to guarantee growing concerns of bank debt, providing unlimited deposit insurance for non-interest-bearing accounts at central banks on a global scale.[1]
It is very important to recall from the previous chapter that Shari’ah Compliant Financial products (SCFs) and loans are non-interest bearing, and are offered on a global scale. It is also very important to realize that large banks and Wall Street had been seduced into promoting Shari’ah financial products since at least 2001 without the public’s knowledge.
The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, commonly referred to as the “bailout” of the U.S. financial system, authorized the U.S. Treasury to use the $700 billion to purchase or insure “troubled assets,” which were reported to be mortgage backed securities (MBS), and included commercial mortgages, securities, “obligations” or “other” instruments related to mortgages that were issued on or before March 14, 2008, the date of Bear Stearns collapse. The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act also authorized the U.S. Treasury to make capital injections into both foreign and domestic banks.[2]
