Only if you have nothing negative to say about Obama

It now seems that our military is in the business of silencing the freedom of speech of anyone who even dares to speak out against their commander in chief, Mr. Obama.

RALEIGH, N.C. – The U.S. Army plans to prevent media from covering Sarah Palin’s appearance at Fort Bragg, fearing the event will turn into political grandstanding against President Barack Obama, officials said Thursday.

… McCollum said the Army did not want the Monday event to become a platform to express political opinions “directed against the commander in chief.”

What I find interesting [sickening] is that our military leaders, the defenders of the free republic, will not allow a patriot, Sarah Palin, to speak out in support of our troops, while their commander in chief is doing everything in his power to not support the troops he is suppose to be commanding.

How is that for an oxymoron?

Even more shocking is that according to Tom McCollum, military officials do not consider Sarah – the patriot – a politician because she is critical of Obama and his policies in regards to our troops who are in dire need of support in Afghanistan.

McCollum said it’s not clear if military officials consider Palin a politician but noted that she has been critical of Obama while promoting the book. She said in an interview with ABC News that Obama should provide more troops to Afghanistan.

“It frustrates me and frightens me — and many Americans — that President Obama is dithering around with the decision in Afghanistan,” she said.

Who exactly are the military protecting; Obama’s elites and their egos, or the brave men and women over in Afghanistan?

Next Issue with Free Speech

Here lies the issue. If our military, congress and the Obama Administration are truly claiming to support the constitution of this nation which includes the freedom of speech for every single citizen, then why would Obama and his defenders of socialism be dead set on silencing those exact freedoms?

Why would a defender like Mark Llyod ( FCC Diversity Czar ) believe in the silencing of the press?

“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.

“[T]he purpose of free speech is warped to protect global corporations and block rules that would promote democratic governance.”

Why would a member of Obama’s team be infatuated with dictators like Hugo Chavez?

“In Venezuela, with Chavez, is really an incredible revolution – a democratic revolution. To begin to put in place things that are going to have an impact on the people of Venezuela.

Let me remind you, this is the same Venezuela where Journalists fear for their lives, where they are shot and murdered for their freedom of speech.

A series of violent attacks, including the killing of a newspaper executive, fueled concern among journalists. On June 3, Pierre Fould Gerges, vice president of the Caracas daily Reporte Diario de la Economía, was shot to death by unidentified gunmen.

Why would yet another defender of freedom such as Mr. McChesney wish to remove brick by brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles?

Why would Obama put himself in alignment with these men like McChesney who believes that Marxism is the only way for a society?

Why?

Could it be that maybe this new administration and the one prior ( Patriot Act ) actually do not want you to have your freedoms any longer as they finally believe that now is the time for a real revolution to take place by revoking your first amendment rights that were once protected under the constitution that seems to be fading into obscurity?

Was this part of the CHANGE that Obama has been speaking of by transforming America?

Is this the CHANGE that he wishes to enforce upon each and every one of us who live in America?

Doesn’t this kind of remind you of June 4, 1989 all over again?

Well folks,

First they silence the politicians,

At minute 1:07 in this video it was stated that our elected representatives are now referring to U.S. citizens as brown shirts, which is absurd. It seems that if anyone dares to even speak a word against the Obama administration and their policies they are now deemed as brown shirt (Nazis)?

I can guarantee you that those citizens who are speaking out against the murder of the elderly through the proposed health care package are not brown shirts; they are concerned U.S. citizens exercising their constitutional rights that these so called representatives swore to protect on the day they took office.

With that said, what exactly is a brown shirt?

In 1921 Adolf Hitler formed his own private army called Sturm Abteilung (Storm Section). The SA (also known as stormtroopers or brownshirts) were instructed to disrupt the meetings of political opponents and to protect Hitler from revenge attacks. Captain Ernst Roehm of the Bavarian Army played an important role in recruiting these men, and became the SA’s first leader.

Free Corps

The Free Corps was a paramilitary organization composed of vigilante war veterans who banded together to fight the growing Communist insurgency which was taking over Germany. The Free Corps crushed this insurgency. Its members formed the nucleus of the Nazi “brown-shirts” (S.A.) which served as the Nazi party’s army.

I am appalled at the blatant disregard this administration and his henchmen have towards the citizens of this nation. They need to remember, and remember very clearly that on the day they took office they swore an oath to protect our constitutional rights that affords each and every citizens of this nation the right to free speech and peaceful assembly. Yet, as we the people exercise our rights granted to us by our forefathers our current elected officials refer to us as Nazis for exercising these constitutional rights in a non violent and legal manner.

In the video above, and in this quote which took place in a meeting in Michigan, they both make reference to Hitler, why?

“This is how Hitler started out,” Duckham said. “First, Obama took over the auto industry, then the banking industry. We don’t need him to take over the health-care industry.”

When you compare someone to Hitler, the vast majority of people don’t think of Hitler’s domestic policies.

Final Thoughts

As you read this brief summary of Hitler policies and ideologies that he implemented as he rose to power, it is alarming how some of these same policies reflect the policies of our current day representatives. Before our congressmen and women dare align the citizens of the United states to Nazis, they need to take a close look in the mirror, as we the people are not the ones pushing unjust and unconstitutional legislation upon the citizens of this country – they are.

Remember my friends; ignorance does not excuse you from the events that are taking place around our nation. Ignorance is only a means that allows you to deserve the calamity that will befall us if we the people continue to sit in our deathly silence.

If you are a citizen of this nation it is your patriotic responsibility to serve your country now by speaking out against the legislation that our administration is trying to unjustly force up on us, and to educate others of what is happening so that their voices and yours will be heard.

The media for far too long has gotten away with negligent and inaccurate reporting, and it is time that we the people, the citizens of this nation, take it back by reporting the news and events from the eyes of American citizens, not the socialist regime they wish us to be.

On April 6 in an address to the parliament of Turkey, US President Obama said that the relationship between the United States and the “Muslim world” is an important one. “In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical,” the president said. During the same address the President stated, “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over so many centuries to shape the world for the better, including my own country.” Mr. Obama neglected to explain in what way(s) Islam has the shaped and improved the United States. The founding fathers of the United States did not share Mr. Obama’s appreciation for the “Islamic faith”. In fact Jefferson, Adams, JQ Adams, and Benjamin Franklin were all were deeply concerned about the dangers that Islam represented to the new nation. Our ongoing experiences with the 21st century version of the Barbary pirates off the coast of Somalia, most recently today when an American freighter captain was freed from pirate captivity by the US Navy, illustrates a great deal about our prior relations with the “religion of peace” and how our previous leaders reacted. There is little discussion in the mainstream press about the link between Somali Islamism, piracy, and jihad, but the linkage is there nonetheless.

I just received a note from the family of 25 year old, Iraq war soldier, Michael Behenna.  He was recently WRONGLY convicted and sentenced to 25 years to Fort Leavenworth because of what I call, prosecutorial predatory misconduct!

You can hear his story here on my No Compromise Radio show. I wanted to share a letter from the family with you as they are greatly comforted by the letters of support Michael is receiving from YOU!

 

 

We finally talked to Michael on the telephone. He sounded as good as can be expected. He could not stop talking about the mail he received not only from his family and friends, but people all over the US who did not know him. We cannot thank each of you enough for promoting Michael’s story throughout the state of Oklahoma and the nation. His one wish before he left for Ft Leavenworth was that his story would stay alive so other soldiers may not have to endure similar treatment by the military. Through your efforts, Michael has received letters from people that believe in him as a soldier and are outraged by the injustice he has endured. It is these letters that will sustain him through his fight for 

an appeal, which we will win, but will take some time. That is precious time from a 25 year old who is not a threat to anyone, was doing his job, wrongly convicted, and just wants to get on with his life. We are continually updating Michael’s web site – particularly the links, which are a credit to all of you -so feel free to pass the site, and his story on to everyone who will listen.

A sword of Damocles hangs over our heads. It is a real threat that has been all but ignored.

 On Feb. 3, Iran launched a communications satellite into orbit. At this very moment, North Korea is threatening to do the same. The ability to launch an alleged communications satellite belies a far more frightening truth. A rocket that can carry a satellite into orbit also can drop a nuclear warhead over any location on the planet in less than 45 minutes.

 Far too many timid or uninformed sources maintain that a single launch of a missile poses no true threat to the United States, given our retaliatory power.

A reality check is in order and must be discussed in response to such an absurd claim: In fact, one small nuclear weapon, delivered by an ICBM can destroy the United States by maximizing the effect of the resultant electromagnetic pulse upon detonation.

atmosphere. When a nuclear weapon is detonated in space, the gamma rays emitted trigger a massive electrical disturbance in the upper atmosphere. Moving at the speed of light, this overload will short out all electrical equipment, power grids and delicate electronics on the Earthís surface. In fact, it would take only one to three weapons exploding above the continental United States to wipe out our entire grid and transportation network. It might take years to recover from, if ever.

 This is not science fiction. If you doubt this, spend a short amount of time skimming the Report of the Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse Attack from April 2008. You will come away sobered.

 Even as the new administration plans to spend trillions on economic bailouts, it has announced plans to reduce funding and downgrade efforts for missile defense. Furthermore, the United Statesí reluctance to invest in a modern and credible traditional nuclear deterrent is a serious concern. What good will a bailout be if there is no longer a nation to bail out?

 Fifty years ago, it was not Sputnik itself that sent a dire chill of warning around the world; it was the capability of the rocket that launched Sputnik. The rocket that lofted Sputnik into orbit also could have served as an ICBM.

 Yet for all its rhetoric, the Soviet Union was essentially a rational power that recognized the threat of mutual destruction and thus never stepped to the edge.

 The world is different today. Intercontinental range missiles tipped with nuclear weapons in the hands of leaders driven by fanaticism, leaders that support global terrorism, leaders that have made repeated threats that they will seek our annihilation . . . can now at last achieve that dream in a matter of minutes.

 Those who claim that there is little to fear from Iran or North Korea because ìat bestî they will have only one or two nuclear weapons ignore the catastrophic level of threat we now face from just ìa coupleî of nuclear weapons.

 Again: One to three missiles tipped with nuclear weapons and armed to detonate at a high altitude to achieve the strongest EMP over the greatest area of the United States  would create an EMP overlay that triggers a continent-wide collapse of our entire electrical, transportation, and communications infrastructure.

 Within weeks after such an attack, tens of millions of Americans would perish. The impact has been likened to a nationwide Hurricane Katrina. Some studies estimate that 90 percent of all Americans might very well die in the year after such an attack as our transportation, food distribution, communications, public safety, law enforcement, and medical infrastructures collapse.

 We most likely would never recover from the blow.

 Two things need to be done now and without delay:

1. Make clear in the strongest of terms that, if either Iran or North Korea launches a rocket on a trajectory headed toward the territory of the United States, we will shoot it down. The risk of not doing so is beyond acceptable. And if they construe this as an act of war, so be it, for they fired the first shot. The risk of sitting back for 30 minutes and praying it is not an EMP strike is beyond acceptable, beyond rational on our part.
2. Funding for EMP defense must be a top national priority. To downgrade or halt our missile defense program, which at last is becoming viable after 25 years of research, would be an action of criminal negligence.

 
Surely, with such a threat confronting us, a fair and open debate, with full public access and the setting aside of partisan politics, is in order. In the meantime, a policy must be stated today that we will indeed shoot down any missile aimed towards the United States that is fired by Iran or North Korea. America’s survival, your survival, and your family’s survival might very well depend on it.

Michael Behenna-Falsely Accused, sentenced to 25 yrs in prison

I received a plea for help from a friend of mine who wanted to get the word out about 1^st Lieutenant Michael Behenna who was just sentenced to 25 years in prison for defending himself against  Ali Mansur, a known terrorist, and member of al Qaeda,  who was part of an 2008 attack against Behenna’s platoon where two soldiers were killed.

Is this another Ramos and Compeon travesty?   I think so!!  However, you read the piece,  and if you think so please support this cause by going over to the site and sending money to his legal defense fund or writing a letter to him or if you own a blog,  post a story about Behanna and consider putting a widget on your sidebar directing your readers to the Defend Michael Blog. 

No one should go to prison for defending themselves against terrorists!  But even more important is that the prosecution deliberately withheld evidence that would have cleared this soldier! If anyone should go to prison it’s these crazed career lawyers who would rather withhold pertinent evidence than to see justice prevail!  I am asking you to bring attention to this travesty!  None of us are safe anymore from predatory lawyers!

They are feeling good just now at The Hague, as the judges and pen-pushers of the International Criminal Court (ICC) adjourn to smart restaurants to celebrate the latest gesture-politics flexing of their muscles by issuing an arrest warrant for Omar al Bashir, the President of Sudan. They are feeling less good in Darfur, from which 10 international aid agencies were expelled in retaliation within four hours of the ICC initiative, cutting food supplies and closing clinics. One man’s ego trip is another man’s starvation.

But the people who should be feeling really nervous about this development are the citizens of the United States and more especially their armed forces. The signs are that the grandstanding Barack Obama is preparing to subject the United States to the jurisdiction of the ICC. In May, 2002 President Bush withdrew the United States from the Rome Statute which established the ICC. With America heading into global conflict, he had no wish to see US troops arraigned for alleged war crimes before a kangaroo court.

That was a wise decision and probably required in terms of the US Constitution. Already, however, the Obama administration is sending out very different messages. America helped defeat a proposal that the warrant for Bashir should be suspended for 12 months – which would have been a welcome respite for the soup kitchens of Darfur. This is a policy change of considerable significance.

Nor is it the only straw in the wind. Last month US Ambassador Susan Rice, in a closed meeting of the Security Council, supported the ICC, saying it “looks to become an important and credible instrument for trying to hold accountable the senior leadership responsible for atrocities committed in the Congo, Uganda and Darfur”. A week later Ben Chang, spokesman for National Security Advisor General James Jones, took a similar line, telling the Washington Times: “We support the ICC in its pursuit of those who’ve perpetrated war crimes.”

The next logical step is for the United States to sign up to the ICC. That would flatter Obama’s ego as the conscience of the world. It would also put US servicemen at the mercy of any American-hating opportunists who might choose to arraign them on trumped-up charges before an alien court whose judges are likely to be ill-disposed towards America too.

In a joint analysis by David Scheffer (who helped set up the ICC) and John Hutson (former US Navy Judge Advocate General), the authors wrote: “If the United States were to join the ICC, one would have to accept at least the theoretical possibility that American citizens (particularly political and military leaders) could be prosecuted before the ICC on charges of committing atrocity crimes.”

So, vengeful Democrats could facilitate the indictment of President George W Bush and all his senior commanders in Iraq. American troops on active service have been shown in polls to have little confidence in Barack Obama. His overtures to the ICC will hardly reverse that tendency.
