President Obama’s Policy Disaster

Tags: , , , , , , , ,

No Compromise Media contributor,  Amil Imani

Is history repeating itself? Is President Obama reenacting President Carter’s tragic policy blunder toward Iran? Is Mr. Obama going to sacrifice the Iranian people at the altar of a misguided expediency as did Jimmy Carter some three decades ago? To what end?

America’s enemies bleat that sacrificing any people to further America’s interests is a standard operating procedure for American administrations – Republican or Democrat. These ill-wishers claim that America is not a democracy, but a plutocracy run by a cabal of big money in collaboration with Zionists.

It is true that self-interest is the motivating force for the individual and groups as well as nations. Thus, it is understandable that President Obama is taking serious steps to further America’s interest by negotiating with Iran’s Mullahs in the hope of stopping them from building nuclear weapons. This is an admirable objective. However, a number of troubling issues immediately come to mind.

For one, stopping the Mullahs from their pursuit of making the bomb is an unlikely possibility. That achievement treats a symptom rather than eliminates the virulent disease of Shi’a’ Islamism.

It is bad enough to have the end-of-the-worlder zany Mullahs’ itchy fingers on the nuclear trigger. The idea brings to mind images of the long-prophesied and dreaded Armageddon. What is worse is to be lulled into believing that the ever-dishonest Mullahs are actually sincere in honoring their commitment to abandon the quest for their nuclear holy grail while they continue to do so and reap the huge side benefits for their “concession.”

What benefits? A great many. Leading the list is giving the Mullahs—wolves masquerading as sheepdogs of Allah—free hand to mercilessly decimate internal opposition. These villains have several millions of equally zany and rabid followers and hired thugs who are regularly unleashed on the secularists in Iran.

For another, the Mullahs are anything if not ambitious. They have their interests also. They are not content with what they are doing to Iran. They have their black heart set on a much bigger prize. First, they have the Middle East, and then the entire world in their crosshairs. And they have the foot-soldiers and mules to do their bidding both internally and worldwide.

Recall that not long ago the Mullahs called for volunteer suicide bombers. In only days, reportedly, thousands tripped over one another in their eagerness to enlist for the honor of martyrdom and a promised fast-track trip to Allah’s lush sensual paradise.

The implacable enemies of liberty, the Mullahs, would very much like to have nuclear weapons to pursue their evil objectives. Not having the bomb, however, hardly prevents them from serious and widespread trouble-making.

It is a certainty that the Mullahs will play you, Mr. Obama, for the novice you are. They will extract huge concessions, shore up their prestige and tighten their stranglehold on the internal oppositions and expand their support for all the troublemakers.

Negotiating any deal with the Mullahs is a futile exercise in an asymmetrical political battle.

One side, the United States of America, plays by the civilized rule that requires honoring its obligations, while the other side, the Iranian Mullahs, play by the dictate of their faith, taqiyya (lying and double-crossing in dealing with their adversaries.)The Ends justify the means is the guiding standard to Islamist.

Let us recall that it was Carter who tied the hands of the late Shah from crushing the Khomeinists in the hope of creating a religious puppet government that would be easy to manipulate. The messianic Carter saw Khomeini as a Saint—albeit a wrong kind, a Muslim one. Yet, Carter and his equally brain-dead National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, sat in Washington spinning reality to the choreography of their deluded liberal minds.

In no time at all, Carter’s saint turned out to be the true devil he was. Khomeini’s mob started killing Americans , took over the U.S. Embassy in Tehran with Americans as hostages, and launched a most virulent anti-American campaign that is bleeding America to this very day.

Carter made a bone-headed decision some 30 years ago. Iranians and Americans paid dearly and continue to pay to this day. Now, is it your turn President Obama? You are about to be hood-winked by the same Machiavellian Shi’a gang that took Carter on a ride of infamy.

Mr. President. I wish you well. I truly do. But, I dread your game plan with the Mullahs; because these masters of deceit make the likes of Kim Jong-Il, seem most forthright by comparison.

Mr. President, are you planning to charm the Mullahs to play it your way? Is that what you are thinking? Are you, Mr. President, thinking that the Mullahs will fall for your teleprompter speeches in the same way that the good-hearted American people got mesmerized and voted you into office?

Didn’t you have a bit of reality check just recently in Copenhagen when your personal appearance so moved the Olympic Committee that your appeal for choosing your hometown of Chicago came fourth out of four cities?

And now, are you going to make history on an unprecedented scale, once again, Mr. Obama? First, you won the presidency in a white majority “racist” country, as was so repeatedly and viciously depicted by your spiritual mentor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Your next goal, Mr. Obama, is for history to record you as the one who single-handedly and through the genius of his brains and personal charm steered the world away from a nuclear conflagration and into a cozy lovey-dovey socialistic paradise?

Mr. President, chances are that you will never see this unsolicited advice from a run of the mill citizen who is not privy to the as good as gold (i.e., costs a great deal of the taxpayers sweat and blood money) inside information your vast intelligence agencies provide. Further, I don’t get the priceless (i.e. worthless) advice of great brain trusts that envelope you. Yet, I, as well as everyone else, can readily see, the awful overall results of our foreign policy of the last several decades. America is despised and vilified from one end of this ungrateful world to the other, in spite of our contributing immensely in funds and blood to the welfare and security of others.

Mr. President, you and democracy have invaluable allies in Iran. There are some 50 million Iranians who are the best hope of the world in that part of the world. These enlightened Iranians despise the Mullahs and have no animosity toward Israel or the United States. Most of these people are well-educated and smart and have broken away from the slavery and fraud of Islamism. They are in the best position to send the Mullahs packing for good. Instead of throwing a lifeline to the sinking ship of the Mullacracy, you must act resolutely in doing everything non-violent to help them defeat the Mullahs. It is your best bet.

Mr. President, the Mullahs’ regime of Iran poses an existential threat to not only the Middle East, but to the entire world. The Mullacracy is sinking. Don’t throw it a lifeline by making a deal with it. Any concession the Mullahs make is not worth a rat’s tail. Deal with the 50 million or so Iranians on the ground. They are yours and the world’s surest bet for ending the Islamists’ menace for good.

Mr. President, while I congratulate you for winning the Nobel Peace Prize, I certainly hope you champion the work of peace and steadfastly avoid the often highly alluring trap of appeasement.

An American Artist Immortalizes Neda

Bust of Neda Sultan, gunned down while standing up against tyranny in Iran

Bust of Neda Sultan, gunned down while standing up against tyranny in Iran

No Compromise Media Contributor,  Amil Imani

One dreadful day, the bullet of a henchman of tyranny pierced the young heart of Neda Agha Sultan, and she collapsed on the pavement, gasped for air as her crimson blood painted the black asphalt. Her music teacher along with a young doctor tried desperately to revive her. They kept frantically telling her not to be afraid, not to be afraid. The music teacher was witnessing the death of his young student and all he could do was to breathe encouragement in the vain hope of keeping her alive. Her mouth began to spurt blood and her eyes rolled to the side. As people crowded around her in screams and wails, she stared peacefully into the cell phone camera that captured the final moments of her life.
Neda, the young and beautiful freedom-loving Iranian music student was slain in cold-blood by the current Islamic regime in Iran. Almost instantly, Neda became, not only the divine call of the Iranian revolution, but she symbolized the call for liberty around the world.

Like millions of people around the globe who were profoundly saddened by the untimely death of a young and innocent Iranian woman, the Master Sculptor, Paula Slater, was also deeply affected by the death of Neda on that graphic video. In fact, waves of human soul cried out loud for the injustice in Iran.

This was the moment of unity, people of all races, classes and nationalities became one people and one voice in expressing their revulsion at the barbarity of a murdering regime and its savage henchmen.

No sooner the final shovels of dirt covered the precious body of Neda that on the other side of the world Paula—a distinguished artist and daughter of humanity – devoted endless hours sculpting a bust of the murdered young woman.

No one commissioned this talented artist, no one even asked her to do the magnificent work of immortalizing Neda. The sensitive artist later reported: “My schedule was packed with Public Art commissions to complete, but I was so saddened by the tragic events in Iran that I needed to turn the pain I felt into art before I could proceed with my other sculpting projects.”

Paula Slater is a full-time professional sculptor and has been awarded many important commissioned monuments and prestigious bronze portraits installed throughout the United States and Canada.  Believing in the old-world ideal of ‘nothing rushed or left undone’, she gives the time needed to bring each exquisite detail to life. This generous giving of time is rare in the art world today, setting her sumptuous sculptures apart and elevating the demand for her fine art ever higher.”

Bronze bust of Neda

Bronze bust of Neda

She started to sculpt a life size portrait bust of Neda, also known as “The Angel of Iran,” based on the photo that was released the day of her murder. It was the photo with the veil. She presented the first bronze bust at a rally, organized by a group called “United 4 Iran,” on the steps of San Francisco City Hall. It was Paula’s divine call. She wanted to memorialize the fallen Persian martyr. Only the spark of talent and genius can produce beauty and true art of lasting value.

The second portrait bust of Neda— she says, “It is the face on the other side of the coin.” The first sculpture was a historical portrait of Neda “Angel of Iran”.  It showed a strong and proud Neda whose spirit could not be broken by an oppressive dictatorship under which she lived and died.  However, this second sculpture is of Neda “the Angel of Freedom” with her hair uncovered, and she is radiating the hope of her people for a free Iran.

In an interview with Radio Free Europe, Paula was asked how she came up with the idea of making a sculpture in Neda’s honor: “Well, you know, I saw the videotape of the shooting of Neda and it just touched me so deeply. It was like a shot to the heart. And what I do when I’m feeling a lot of pain is sculpt, and I thought I just needed to sculpt her. I need to turn this pain that I’m feeling into art and I just wanted to sculpt her portrait and to show my solidarity with the people in Iran,” she replied.

Slater goes on to say, “I am normally a commission sculptor, however, I chose to sculpt the first portrait of Neda and to donate it so that we could have a memorial for her in the U.S.–the present government in Iran banned Neda’s family from holding a memorial for her, but they can’t stop us from having one here.”

Paula was overwhelmed by so many loving e-mails she received by Iranians all over the world in appreciations of Neda’s sculptures that she started to sculpt another life size portrait bust of a 19-year-old fallen martyr, Sohrab Arabi, to represent all the brave young male heroes who have given their lives in this revolution for freedom and human rights in Iran.  “I feel that I have become joined at the heart with the Iranian people and I want to continue to do all that I can to help, because I believe that the only way bad people can win is if good people aren’t willing to stand up to them,” says Paula.

For the most part, Slater’s sculptures capture and set forth a message with the force of a sudden wind storm. And the sculpture of Neda breaks free from formality and brings one quickly into a realm of light and spirit, which only folded, hammered, heated and burnished bronzes can do. Paula’s work directs, without speaking.

She is considered by many art lovers one of the best sculptors in the country. This talented American artist has an eye for detail and her powerful compositions are capturing the attention of art enthusiasts worldwide.

Her skill with bronze sculpture vividly captures the spirit and movement of her subjects, both in human sculpture and animal sculpture, and only is surpassed by her sensitive attention to detail. Paula is deservedly celebrated for the compelling realism of her bronze sculpture.

We salute Paula Slater, by all accounts, for distinguishing herself as a tireless and devoted artist who stands for freedom, justice and liberty. We salute Master Sculptor, Paula Slater, for her stand on the right side of history at this critical juncture and for lending her invaluable support to the people of Iran.

Whilst we mourn Neda’s passing, let us celebrate her life through the hands of a brilliant artist, Paula Slater.

Paula’s devotion to sculpture has been acknowledged through the awards and recognitions that have been bestowed upon her and her work.  And she really wanted to donate her time and talents to immortalize Neda’s image in bronze. “These two portraits of Neda are gifts from my heart to the Iranian people to show my solidarity with their fight for freedom and democracy.  I want them to know they are not alone,” says Paula.

Here is our message to you dear Paula: We, free Iranian expatriates as well as the diverse people of Iran, express our deepest appreciation for your magnificent work and support. You have energized us by your passion, compassion and the beautiful creation of Neda’s sculptures. You have given us great courage and hope to continue our struggle for freedom and justice in Iran. We will meet any challenge and pay any price to defeat tyranny and we will not rest until Iran is completely free of the despotic rule of the Mullahs.

Mollycoddling Maniacal Dictators

Dahlia Mogahed

Dahlia Mogahed

Obama’s Islamic advisor (Dahlia Mogahed) no doubt has told him that Islam is a “religion of peace” and all of Iranian president Ahmadinejad’s bravado about a new, previously untold underground uranium enrichment plant is just a bunch of saber rattling to gain attention. I’m sure Obama’s also been told that the recent test of Iran’s Sahib-3 missiles with 1,200 mile range (enough to strike Israel) is just a routine test.

Obama – and most liberals – desperately want to believe that these people are civilized, and that we can talk them out of their desire to “wipe Israel off the map” by just understaaaanding them. By being seeensitive to their desires, we can cajole them into working hand in hand with the rest of the world. Unicorns and rainbows will herald a new era of peace because we taaaalked with the maniacal dictators, and they took our message to heart and really believed us when we showed them through our humble apologies and disarming ourselves and removing missile defenses from our (former) allies. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and Ahamadinejad and Netenyahoo will sing Kum By Yah together.

Answer this question:

When in all of recorded history has a maniacal dictator ever put down his weapons and layed down his armies because someone talked him into acting peacefully?

You already know the answer: It has never happened. Hitler. Pol Pot. Hirohito. Keep going. A weak America doesn’t make dictators more willing to work with us, it makes them more willing to attack us and crush our allies us by any means while they have the opportunity.

Ahmadinejad strongly adheres to the Shiite belief that the return of the Mahdi will restore peace rid the world of error, injustice, and tyranny (go figure!). That is great, until you understand that the Mahdi will only return after “the world is washed in blood” – World War III – and Ahmadinejad wants that!

The left desperately doesn’t want to believe this truth: WWIII accomplishes the Shiite goal of “the return of the Mahdi.” Millions of Muslims believe this with excitement, including Iranian president Ahmadinejad. And collateral damage (his own people, and other warriors for Islam), and “innocents” (that’s probably where you would put yourself) don’t matter. In his mind, death brings righteous Muslims into paradise quicker, infidels get their right place in hell, and praise Allah, the Mahdi is almost here!

Check this video, especially “hasten the return of the 12th Imam, the Mahdi” (at :46, right out of the maniacal dictators mouth at the UN last week).

There are only two groups of people with Islam. The first is dar al-Islam (the “house of Islam”). Those who have submitted to Islam (and “Islam” means “submit”) are in that category. If you’re reading this, chances are you are not in it. There is only one issue on the table for Ahmadinejad: “will you submit fully to Islam, and institute shariah law in place of democracy?” If the answer is “no” (and it is), then we live in dar al-harb (the house of war), whether you like it or not, and whether you agree with it or not. You don’t even have to do anything to make them angry: you are a filthy plague on this earth by your very existence, and those who are within Islam (“his pure household and his noble companions” per Ahmadinejad’s own voice above) have a duty to cleanse the world. Remember, Osama Bin Laden declared war on the West, and fundamentalist Islamists are at war with you, and what are you going to do about it? If you’re not going to convert to Islam and join the jihad against the infidels, then you are the enemy.

Fundamentalist Muslims don’t want to talk,

they want Islam to prevail at any cost.

(and you’re probably getting in the way of that by breathing).

There are peaceful Muslims, but there is no peaceful Islam.

As one blogger put it: “Obama’s unclenched fist policy is failing miserably.”

  • Let Obama know that you want him to stand firm against Islam’s war against the world.
  • Complete list of congress’ email and fax numbers here.
  • Another “contact congress” option is here.
  • Contact your representatives to put pressure on him to protect us and our interests from these religious warriors.
  • Contact the media (radio, TV, blogs) and help them know more.

Five More Nuclear Facilities Discovered in Iran

Ayatollah Vows: “We Will Make Our Enemies Blind”

by

M.T., a No Compromise Media Contributor

The British MI6 agents, who uncovered an underground uranium enrichment plant near the Iranian city of Qom, have discovered five more similar operations in the mountains northern Iran, increasing the number of Iran’s nuclear facilities to seven.

Photos and schematics of the plants have been hand-delivered to Meir Dagan, the head of Mossad. Mr. Dagan has conveyed them to the G20 leaders who were meeting in Pittsburgh.

2nd Facility

The information, according to British reporter Gordon Thomas, was obtained from “an Iranian nuclear scientist’s smuggled laptop, defectors, and satellite imagery.”

The new plants, according to British intelligence, are guarded by members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and staffed by nuclear scientists from the country’s central weapons facility at 180 Western Avenue in the Pars district of eastern Tehran.

M16 remains responsible for gathering most of the intelligence data regarding nuclear developments in Iran for the international intelligence community, including the CIA. Mark Fitzpatrick, head of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, says: “Until MI6 uncovered the truth that Iran had a further clandestine way of producing highly enriched uranium, we had no idea.”

The latest news has served only to heighten the resolve of Iran to enter the elite nuclear club of nations, which now includes the United States, Russian, China, Great Britain, France, India, Israel, and Pakistan.

In Tehran, Ayatollah Khameni, Iran’s supreme leader, authorized his new chief of staff, Mohammadi Golpayegni, to announce: “Our new plant at Qom, God willing, will soon become operational and will make our enemies blind.”

Qom contains one of the holiest sites of the Shiite Muslims – - the shrine of Fatema Maesume, the revered sister of Imam Ali ibn Musa Rida, a great Islamic scholar. A pre-emptive attack on Qom would do much to strengthen a coalition of Shiite and Sunni Muslims against the West.

Over the weekend, Prime Minister Gordon Brown told the opening of the annual Labour Party conference in Brighton that Iran’s attitude “is the serial deception of many years. The international community has no choice but to draw a line in the sand.”

He added that the alternative will lead to confrontation.

England’s Foreign Secretary David Milliband said he would refuse to rule out military action against Iran.

MI6 agents also have uncovered evidence that the Qom plant could house 3,000 centrifuges for enriching uranium – the key element in a nuclear bomb. The five other plants would give the rogue nation a combined capacity of 15,000 centrifuges, far outstripping the 8,000 capacity of the underground plant at Natanz.

Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran’s atomic chief, will head to Geneva this week to head off calls for new economic sanctions by world powers. He will meet with Mohamed el Baradei and other officials from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to argue his case, claiming that Iran has no intention of building a nuclear bomb even though seven nuclear production facilities are now in operation.

France Surrenders to Ahmadinejad

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

NC Reminds: Apparently, Obama has surrendered to AhMADinejad, as well,  as Obama has NOTHING to say to those who are fighting for their Liberty! A confrontational statement from Obama might make him look like an American imperialist, right? Oh, wait,  Obama made some pretty intense, confrontational statements to Israeli PM Nentanyahu! What’s up with the double standard Obama?

by Amil Imani

When one mentions the country France, what instantly pop into the mind are its fabulous wine and cheese and a taste for romance. But that’s not all she is known for. France is also known for capitulating to the enemy in times of crises. France has never been a reliable partner, the sort of Western country you can count on in time of need. Even though France has been part of NATO, she has deviated from the pact on numerous occasions. France habitually has been unpredictable, unreliable and at times, very unethical.

In WWI 1914-1918, the German army pounded the French – without the rescue mission of Uncle Sam, French people would be speaking German now. The sore-winner imposed a very harsh “Treaty of Versailles” to ‘punish’ the Germans, only resulting in the rise of an unknown Austrian “thug” by the name of Hitler.

In WWII, Germany bullied France into letting them take more territory – France did not even fight – they adopted a policy of ‘appeasement’. In 1940, France surrenders before Germany.  It took the allied forces again to liberate France from the occupation of the Nazis in what is known as“D-Day.”

Former president of France, Jacques Chirac, was a close friend of Saddam Hussein for thirty years or so. Chirac allowed the sale of nuclear facilities to Iraq that were destroyed just in time by Israel before Saddam could use it against the Iranians or the Israelis. He sold Iraq the planes that been used to gas thousands of Kurds as well as Iranian soldiers.

France’s sense of anti-Semitism is not a secret
. Even during Sarkozi’s government, French Jews have no sense of physical safety. Jews still get mugged, simply for being Jews. Almost nobody pays attention to it. The Jews are not the only victims of France’s identification with radical Islam. In many French cities with a growing radical Islamist population, no teenage girl can go out in the evening, at least not without an Islamic hejab. If she does, it translates to: “she is for everybody.”

There are about six to seven million Muslims living in France, at least ten per cent of them are radical Islamists poised on the edge of violence. And these radical Muslims have allies on both ends of the Left and the Right. France should not be considered a Western country any longer; it is now the leader of the Arab-Muslim world. France is an Islamist country and whether one agrees or not, her actions speak louder than any words.

France stood up against the United States and other allies, protesting liberating Iraq from the hands of one of the twentieth century’s bloodthirsty dictators, Saddam Hussein. It is especially ironic for a country that was liberated twice by the Americans; one would think they would understand the value of freedom and liberty. Siding with Saddam was unconscionable. Well, that’s why France is France.

Hilmi Dawood, a Kurdish journalist, both a French-speaker and a Francophile, is also harshly critical. “I was utterly shocked by France’s opposition to the war because, even if nobody likes Bush, either in Europe or Iraq, the essential thing was to liberate us from Saddam,” she said. “I could not understand France’s position. Not to mention the aftermath of the war when Iraqis need help in the face of security concerns and misery, and France is nowhere to be seen.”

By now, everyone in the world knows that Iran’s last month presidential election was rigged. (Let’s keep in mind Iran does not have a free election). However, after a fiery month-long campaign and unprecedented passions and tensions, the mass rallies, polished campaign slogans, savvy Internet outreach and worldwide televised debates, which revealed rampant corruption, ineptitude, and illegal and criminal activities of all four candidates, on June 12, 2009, 45 million Iranians went to the polls, challenging not only the incumbent president, Ahmadinejad, but the entire establishment of the Islamic regime. Mr. Mousavi overwhelmingly won the election, but the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, declared his boy, Ahmadinejad, the winner.

Millions of Iranians, (both by their votes and in the streets) loud and clear have declared the Islamic Republic is illegitimate. In return, Ali Khamenei, the self-styled, supreme leader and representative of “Allah” on earth, said that he would crush anyone who rises against his chosen candidate, the psychopathic killer, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, also known as “the Monkey” by the Iranians.

The life that God gives, no man should extinguish. The illegitimate government of “Allah,” presently ruling Iran, blatantly violates this sacred covenant and has been shooting at a large number of peaceful demonstrators who are demanding nothing more than their God-given right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

People who went to get their sons’ and daughters’ bodies observed hundreds of dead bodies of the demonstrators in a morgue, (who were missing for 30 days) in the southern part of Tehran.  At least 6000 protesters have been wounded.  The mullahs and their mercenaries are wasting precious human life to maintain themselves in power through terrorizing the population.

Millions of Iranians have warned the world not to recognize the illegitimate handpicked puppet, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as Iran’s president. They have called upon the free governments of the world, as well as all other businesses, organizations and individuals to enlist in a non-violent campaign of ending the reign of terror of the belligerent clerical regime in Iran. They want the world to declare and treat the clerical regime as illegitimate. Keep in mind that revolution has not stopped in Iran. It has been persisted for the past 35 days, and it will not be stopped until there is a free election.

In 1978, the French government betrayed the Iranian people by allowing the Ayatollah Khomeini to relocate to France. As protests against the Shah of Iran swept across Iran, Ayatollah Khomeini was living in a cozy house in the Parisian suburb of Neauphle-le-Chateau, engineering an Islamic revolution that would soon shake the world. Under the watchful eye of the French government, Khomeini met regularly with journalists and actively campaigned for the shah’s overthrow. He distributed cassettes to Iran inciting against democracy, peace in the Middle East, the Jews and Israelis. In fact, when Pahlavi finally fled his country in 1979, Khomeini was provided with a chartered Air France flight to Tehran, where he presided over one of the world’s most repressive regimes until his death in 1989.

Once again, the ever-conniving French government today announced that it recognizes Ahmadinejad’s re-election. France’s FM, Kouchner said, “Since Ahmadinejad has been proclaimed president, it would be ‘useless and counterproductive’ for France alone to reject this,” reports AFP.

The Iranian people strongly condemn France’s position on surrendering to Islamofascists in Iran who are holding peaceful Iranians as hostage. This is clearly against all norms of human dignity. With this recognition, there comes a price. It would perhaps make France an accessory to the crimes committed by the murderous mullahs in Iran. They will be facing a severe boycotting on all French products by the Iranians, inside and outside the country, and hopefully by all decent human beings whose hearts were broken by the assassination of Neda, by the instruments of the supreme Islamic leader, Ali Khamenei.

What is Neda’s Fourth of July Message?

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

by Amil Imani

Neda, Martyred for Freedom

Neda, Martyred for Freedom

Neda, the young and beautiful freedom-loving Iranian student was slain in cold-blood by the current Islamic regime in Iran. Almost instantly, Neda became, not only the divine call of the Iranian uprising, but, she symbolized the call for liberty around the globe. Here’s the video of Richard Roth’s report which contained the image of Neda.

If either President Ronald Reagan or President John F. Kennedy were alive today, they would stand in solidarity with the Iranian people. In fact, they would declare “Today we are all Iranians.”   It appears the Iranian people are showing the world what a revolution looks like and some Americans have started paying close attention and taking notes.

Neda knew the value of freedom. She died for it. Her blood was not wasted and she did not die in vain. Headlines have heralded the young woman as a martyr and some even dubbed her Iran’s Joan of Arc. Not only has she become a “symbol of goodness” battling against her brutal oppressor, her story has laid open a much larger issue, freedom and liberty. There is a site dedicated to Neda proclaiming, “We are all Neda.”

Each year, on the fourth of July, we celebrate America’s birth and independence. This is a day that the heart of every American must glow with pride and appreciation. On this special occasion, the Iranian martyr, Neda, has a special message for all freedom-loving Americans: “Do not take your liberty for granted” “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure,” said Thomas Jefferson. I think Neda would have said, “I have given my blood for the cause of liberty for my country and I hope you don’t have to give yours once again.”

We are going through some troubled times in America. We Americans need to wake up and realize that our liberties and freedoms that we take for granted are slowly and inexorably being taken from us. Once we lose them, it will be very hard to get them back. Let the blood of the Persian freedom-fighter, Neda, inspire all of us to cherish our liberty. “We are fighting and dying on the streets of Tehran to have what you have had for more than two centuries. You, America, have been an inspiration to millions of us in Iran to become free, free to roam, free to grow, and free to bloom,” Neda would have said.

As we celebrate the 4th of July, it is my hope that all freedom-loving Americans remain mindful of how precious that day is to our country’s storied history. On July 4, 1776, America declared its independence from England, the old white grandfather across the sea.  The miracle of America happened and its dynamic birth rapidly changed the entire world. Neda would have wished her blood would cause the Iranians to gain their freedom and our two countries once again become the staunchest friends.

America is a nation and an ideal, birthed by a group of visionaries that gave it the Constitution to nurture it and protect it. What makes America, “America the Beautiful,” more than just a blessed land is your legacy, the Constitution. Sadly, the Constitution also makes for “America the vulnerable” by enshrining freedom that enables the malevolent to subvert and destroy America from within. You are the guardian of the Constitution. You and only you determine the health and survival of America.

Democracy, by its accommodating and benign nature, is susceptible to corruption and even destruction by forces from within and from without. With this realization in mind, the founding fathers of our country enshrined the constitution to safeguard and protect the rule of the people.

America is defined by the last phrase of our national anthem: The land of the free and the home of the brave. Freedom, in all its forms, is our greatest legacy, for which our nation has bravely fought many wars on many fronts against the unceasing assaults of totalitarianism of all stripes. Time and again, the flowers of our nation bravely sacrificed their lives to protect freedom and liberty.

I am reminded of the words of our great President Abraham Lincoln when he, in 1863, described our nation as “a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Is this still the case, or how much is government stealing from us?  In 1776, our Founders stood up, put their lives and fortunes on the line and declared their freedom and independence from the chains and shackles of the King of United Kingdom. I hope all Americans, once again, unite for the love of freedom and are willing to stand up and declare their Freedom and Independence, not from the United Kingdom, but from the chains and shackles of our own government and its lackeys.

First things first. Our highest priority is the preservation of this nation of the free. We have done what it took in the past and we must do what it takes now and in the future to safeguard our precious liberty. America is not perfect. Yet, it is the very best hope for a humanity struggling to find its humanness. America is worth defending.

Most Iranian Women Reject the Hijab, but are Forced to Wear It!

Most Iranian Women Reject the Hijab, but are Forced to Wear It!

For the past 30 years, the illegitimate government of the Islamic Republic has been waging a brutal war against the entire population of Iran. For 30 years Iranians have been fighting for individual and religious freedom. Iranians have suffered so much, and they are risking their livesand ready to die so that the next Iranian generation does not have to live in the nightmare of a backward Islamic barbarity.

As Iranians have started the fight for their freedom and liberty, we must strive to keep ours. We must put aside our minor differences that have divided us in the past and unite as one strong political force to restore our fading Freedom and Liberty. “The history of liberty is a history of resistance.”

In conclusion, I would like to thank all Americans who wrote songs and poems in remembrance of a freedom-loving Iranian patriot, Neda. My special thanks goes out to United States Senator McCain who spoke on the floor of the U.S. Senate (and his 4th of July message), remembering the champion of freedom, Neda, and to the honorable Congressman McCotter’s beautiful eulogy about Neda’s assassination by the direct order of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I am eternally grateful for millions of people who have kept Neda’s memory alive. Regrettably, President Obama has stated he wants to make a deal with Neda’s murderers. America, now it is up to you to object to any negotiations with those who murdered our freedom-loving and innocent human being, Neda.

Happy Independence Day, America!

Son’s Death Has Iranian Family Asking Why

By FARNAZ FASSIHI

TEHRAN—The family, clad in black, stood at the curb of the road sobbing. A middle-aged mother slapped her cheeks, letting out piercing wails. The father, a frail man who worked as a doorman at a clinic in central Tehran, wept quietly with his head bowed.

Minutes before, an ambulance had arrived from Tehran’s morgue carrying the body of their only son, 19-year-old Kaveh Alipour.

On Saturday, amid the most violent clashes between security forces and protesters, Mr. Alipour was shot in the head as he stood at an intersection in downtown Tehran. He was returning from acting class and a week shy of becoming a groom, his family said.

The details of his death remain unclear. He had been alone. Neighbors and relatives think that he got trapped in the crossfire. He wasn’t politically active and hadn’t taken part in the turmoil that has rocked Iran for over a week, they said.

“He was a very polite, shy young man,” said Mohamad, a neighbor who has known him since childhood.

When Mr. Alipour didn’t return home that night, his parents began to worry. All day, they had heard gunshots ringing in the distance. His father, Yousef, first called his fiancée and friends. No one had heard from him.

At the crack of dawn, his father began searching at police stations, then hospitals and then the morgue.

Upon learning of his son’s death, the elder Mr. Alipour was told the family had to pay an equivalent of $3,000 as a “bullet fee”—a fee for the bullet used by security forces—before taking the body back, relatives said.

NC Reminds:  These riots ARE NOT about Mousavi losing the election.  The Citizens of Iran want FREEDOM. They are done with the mullahs controlling them, they are down with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his secret police, they are done with the mobile cranes that go from neighborhood to neighborhood on Fridays hanging the woman for not wearing the hijab! They are fighting for freedom!   Never forget that!

The Tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and Patriots.  Long live the memory of this Patriot!

Analysis: Iran at the Tipping Point by Ilana Freedman

Iran has reached a point of no return. The increasingly violent demonstrations in the streets of Iran’s cities are growing larger and louder as Iranians continue to protest the results of a well-orchestrated, fraudulent national election. The outcome of the June 12th elections, was determined long before the Iranian people went to the ballot boxes. Although the final results of the election were not supposed to be announced until Monday, June 15, Ahmadinejad preempted the announcement on the 13th, declaring himself the winner. This was despite the fact that the counting of nearly forty million votes was clearly impossible in such a short time.

Ahmadinejad gave an audacious performance at a press conference the following day, touting what he called the ‘real and free’ election process. Pandering to the West, he ignored the oppressive reality under which the Iranian people live.

“The elections belong to the people,” he said, “and were conducted by the people. Forty million participated in them. The people have made their decision . . . . The response of our people is very clear – those forty million who participated in the elections exist here and now. Those twenty million or so who voted for me exist here and now. At any given point in the future, they will repeat their heroic act. That is what the Iranian people is all about.”

“Iran supports peace, justice, and brotherhood”, he continued. “Don’t you worry about us. Freedom here is almost absolute. As proof of this, you see that people can say whatever they like. They are not afraid of persecution.”

Well, the people are speaking now. And ‘freedoms’ that Ahmadinejad boasted of in his press conference have gone by the wayside. The wheels of oppression are now in full play to suppress all displays of dissent among the Iranian people. Persecution is clearly the reward that the government wants dissenters to reap.
