Senior FCC staff working for acting Federal Communications Commissioner Michael Copps held meetings last week with policy and legislative advisers to House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman to discuss ways the committee can create openings for the FCC to put in place a form of the “Fairness Doctrine” without actually calling it such.

Waxman is also interested, say sources, in looking at how the Internet is being used for content and free speech purposes. “It’s all about diversity in media,” says a House Energy staffer, familiar with the meetings. “Does one radio station or one station group control four of the five most powerful outlets in one community? Do four stations in one region carry Rush Limbaugh, and nothing else during the same time slot? Does one heavily trafficked Internet site present one side of an issue and not link to sites that present alternative views? These are some of the questions the chairman is thinking about right now, and we are going to have an FCC that will finally have the people in place to answer them.” 

Copps will remain acting chairman of the FCC until President Obama’s nominee, Julius Genachowski, is confirmed, and Copps has been told by the White House not create “problems” for the incoming chairman by committing to issues or policy development before the Obama pick arrives. 

But Copps has been a supporter of putting in place policies that would allow the federal government to have greater oversight over the content that TV and radio stations broadcast to the public, and both the FCC and Waxman are looking to licensing and renewal of licensing as a means of enforcing “Fairness Doctrine” type policies without actually using the hot-button term “Fairness Doctrine.”

Senator Debbie Stabenow, D-Michigan, expressed her support of the Fairness Doctrine in an effort to bring order to the radio waves.

“Everyday, people over at SETI are being allowed to listen to all kinds of brainwashing from those aliens from Mars and Neptune and Pluto and Rhynox-4 and Heculibrea and Ur-Oo-Cacackson-3,” said Stabenow, “We have to put a stop to this before it destroys our country!”

Democrats have historically favored some form of regulation to limit the type of rhetoric allowed on our radio waves. Stabenow’s call for fairness has received plenty of support from other senators.

“Those evil Telaxians are just trying to numb people’s minds so they can continue with their kidnappings and anal probes,” said Jim Webb, D-Virginia, “I think it’s time we all started supporting the Fairness Doctrine if we want to keep Telaxian fingers out of our collective asses.”

A spokesman from SETI (the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) seemed as though he was caught by surprise by the sudden attack from the Senate.

“What, dude?” said Scotty Stevens, the guy who answered the phone at SETI, “Is that you, Spaz? Dude, this is not funny. I’m at work.”

Other radio personalities have spoken harshly about the Fairness Doctrine and its clear encroachment on free speech.

“Jim Webb pulled out the Telaxian finger argument when he was trying to gain support for the stimulus bill,” said radio personality Sean Hannity, “He said that if more Americans lost their jobs, it would leave our asses open for Telaxian fingers. Then he used it again to increase funding to the Boy Scouts. He said that if the Boy Scouts didn’t get their new do-it-yourself wicker furniture kits that our asses would be more vulnerable to Telaxian fingers. Why doesn’t he just say that he hates me? I need a beer.”

Stabenow was quick to defend Senator Webb.

“I don’t think Mr. Hannity understands the weight of the Telaxian finger issue,” said Stabenow, “Telaxians have very large fingers. Would you want a 4-inch wide finger jammed up your bunghole? No? Then you better support the Fairness Doctrine. My finger is less than an inch wide and it’s about time the American people showed some appreciation for the small amount of rectal damage it would do… unless they’d rather get a Telaxian colon massage.”

“I’m getting the impression that maybe Senator Stabenow is trying to divert us from the real issue here,” said Hannity, “Maybe Americans don’t want any fingers going near that area at all. Maybe Americans just want to sit down and enjoy some good old fashioned talk radio without excessive regulation.”

When told of Hannity’s remarks, Senator Stabenow responded by wiggling her finger around and shouting “Ooooh! I’m a Telaxian! Watch out for your Heiny! Ooooh!”

Obama ran on the platform of change. Although he never defined that change, he left enough clues so that we can make an educated guess about what that change would entail. The most important clue is his mental profile. We need to understand his mind, the way he thinks and how he perceives the world in order to calculate what he’s likely to do.

Mr. Obama most likely suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. It means he fantasizes about unlimited success, power and brilliance, without commensurate talents.  Many people tell me, so what? Everybody is narcissist to some degree. Why should Obama’s narcissism concern us?

In view of the fact that there is so little understanding of narcissism and this disorder has caused so much havock, I will explain it first. The darkest chapters of history, nearly all wars, and many religions are owed to this disorder. Narcissism has the potential to wipe out humanity and end life on this planet. No other disease has caused so much death and devastation than narcissism. We must learn about narcissism for our own survival.

No Compromise Readers,

I got another email this morning from another blogger who has been controlled and “temporarily” silenced by power trippers who own the platform he blogs on.  To silence one you disagree with shows the cowardice and in ability to communicate your disagreement. Anyone can just silence another–how simply is that.  It requires strength and intelligence to explain why you disagree.  Realize, I said strength and intelligence.  Some aren’t intelligent,  but are strong enough to voice their opposition which is good too!

Clinton-appointed judge denies motion by controversial Islamic lobby group

A Clinton-appointed federal judge ruled in favor of Michael Savage today in an attempt by the Council on American-Islamic Relations to extract attorney fees and costs in a case the nationally syndicated talk radio host brought against the Muslim lobby group.

“This is a huge victory for me, personally, but also for the rest of America who is afraid of this lawsuit-happy group of intimidators,” Savage said.

Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California previously dismissed Savage’s copyright infringement and RICO lawsuit against CAIR. Savage alleged CAIR illegally published singled-out quotes and audio excerpts from his show regarding Islam, misappropriated his words and used the clips for its own fundraising purposes, damaging the value of his copyrighted material.

Savage noted Illston is a “bona fide liberal, yet she followed the law in the fees motion.”

An interesting turn of events occurred: The election is over, so I guess Blog Talk Radio decided it was safe for an outspoken critic of the Obamunist to have her show back. As if I, or anyone else could do any harm to the messiah! If he’s such a messiah why silence his critics? Wow, what a god he must be!

Thanks to my listeners, Alan Levy, owner of BTR, said he would look into the matter. Apparently, he did, however, I did not receive an apology from Blog Talk Radio which I deserve to have from them for their picking and choosing who could speak on their platform! If their argument is that they are private and can boot off anyone they want then why not take down ALL of the shows that are outspoken against the obamunist? Why my show, my little ole show? If my show was

“racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, unreasonably violent, threatening, intimidating or harassing; 2. contains falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage BlogTalkRadio or any other person;” Red highlights by Shannon Dingee-Kramer

and

Dingee-Kramer stated in a letter to yours truly that

It is our decision at this time that we are not willing to revisit this decision, and you should consider it final.

and finally this statement:

BlogTalkRadio, in its sole discretion, shall determine your compliance . . . . red emphasis by Dingee-Kramer

Really? BTR shall determine my compliance? Based on what? Evidence? Why didn’t they share that evidence with me? Why then has nothing been resolved? How is it that today my show isn’t about the above false accusations but a few weeks back it was about the above false accusations? That’s postmodernism for ya! Had McLame won would I have ever got my show back? Let me point out that whenever you hear the kind of statement such as “sole discretion to determine your compliance” that’s double speak for, “If we feeeeeel like it we’re going to shut your ass down”. This is a perfect example of the post modern will to power! Watch out for it, you could be next!

Why am I left with so many unanswered questions? I suspect that it’s about a bunch of ants willing their power of others just because they somehow have to flex their ant muscles! Do ants have muscles?

Anyway, I want to thank all of you for your continued support for my show, and I will let you know when I will have the next power packed exciting show that is if they don’t shut me down again because I have exercised my voice on this turn of events!
