UPDATED–Allah is nothing, but a pagan moon-god

UPDATE III:  The Moon: Gods, myths and legends

Excerpt from piece:

4) Hubal (Pre Islamic Arabian)

A moon god and the most powerful of the three hundred and sixty gods worshipped at Mecca in pre-Islamic times. It is believed that Hubal may have been a forerunner of al-Llah, which means The God, and may be the reason that Mosques have a moon sign over them. Hubal had three daughters. The devil tricked Mohamed into saying in the Koran that they should be worshipped. The lines that Mohamed wrote in the Koran about the daughters are known as the Satanic Verses.

Who hasn’t heard someone say that Allah is the same Supreme God of the Torah and the New Testament? In fact, this is a lie spun on the webs of deceit to convince Jews and Christian to worship this pagan god. Below is an article explaining where the word “Allah” comes from and the links to the worship of this pagan deity.

YHWH is the Supreme Creator of the universe and there is none, but He:

Mi Ka Mocha Ba’ Elim Adonai.

Any church or synagogue that claims that Allah is the same God as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is enticing fellow Believers to worship strange gods and should be immediately dis-fellowshipped! In Deuteronomy 13 YHWH commands that anyone enticing fellow Israelites to worship false and foreign gods was to be stoned. Today, we shun them and have nothing to do with them. They are idolaters and we are to never have any fellowship with any idolater who calls himself a Believer. I Cor. 5:11.

This article is worth the read.

Concerning the Qur’an:The prevailing doctrine among Islamic scholars hold to the belief in Abrogation which means that later “revelations” abrogates or cancels earlier revelation. How Muslims resolve contradictions within the Qur’an is through this doctrine. According to this doctrine of supercession or abrogation, truth is not eternal, because it depends upon when the revelation ws given in time. The Qur’an can’t be eternal if it’s truths depends on time, which is a created thing in itself. YHWH exists outside of and before time and He is Truth and He is Eternal Truth who is not bound by time or succession. Either Truth is eternal or it is temporal and if you believe Truth is eternal, then the doctrine of supercession or abrogation must be rejected and repudiated as a heresy. Psalm 117:2; John 1:1; John 17:17.

We are at war because of ignorance of teaching errors passed down through religious schools and “churches”. No religion is following the word of God written in their holy books. We must become one with “It is written.” That is how the devil is overcome.

Allah means “the God” in Arabic. Moses was told, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. This is My name forever and this is My memorial to all nations.” “The God” is said three times.

A pagan moon god would be the devil’s lie and his tool. The God “Allah” of the Qur’an repeatedly said to follow Moses and Jesus and the prophets, Sinai Covenant, the God of Abraham, and to follow the whole Bible. That was in 600+AD after the Catholic Church took away all things written by God to the Jews. They changed times and seasons as prophesied in Daniel. The devil does not promote the true God, even by the Arabic name, Allah. There is no God but Jehovah the Father of Jesus Christ. Jesus prayed to Him. Jehovah is greater than Jesus according to Jesus.

Christianity has great error, not following Jesus Christ. He said to live by EVERY word of God; that begins in Genesis. Islam has great error, not following the word of God through Muhammad whose primary message is to follow the whole Bible (Torah – Law, Gospels and Prophets) He is a warner to Christians and Jews who still reject the truth, as he is today. Jesus came to fulfill scriptures not to start a new religion. Muhammad did not come to start a new religion, but to bring correction.

Jews cannot believe in a Messiah who did away with the Law of Moses and that is the only Jesus Christians preach. He would have been a false prophet of Deuteronomy 13 if he did away with God’s law. Jesus repeatedly said we must follow all God’s words… they begin in Genesis.

Correction is needed — wars, violence and destruction will not end until we turn to truth. Leviticus 26 outlines 4 x 7 curses UNTIL we admit we are wrong. All our modern ways are against God: debt, interest, insurance, seeking riches and honor, immodesty, immorality etc. There is no truth or soundness in us and our system is being broken down.

The goal in life is not employment; that caused world problems. The goal is a retirement lifestyle in a garden paradise we create with trees, plants and animals that give food around us. That solves the world problems at the same time. It is easy, fair, inexpensive and sustainable throughout the ages. It is the way of God. The way is prepared before us. The decision and consequences belong to us.

No reformer has restored the truth.

    Marie,

Let’s start with your first wrong statement. It’s obvious you do not read Hebrew.

    You state:

“I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. This is My name forever and this is My memorial to all nations.” “The God” is said three times.”

First in this one verse there are two Names of “God” that you fail to understand because you don’t read Hebrew!

I’ll let you figure that out. God is a word but it is NOT the name of the Creator. It’s a generic term that is no different than you or me saying, “Hey, Mister or Mame.”

The word God is NOT the name of the Creator. Sorry. We do have to know the name of the Creator because it is upon that Name that we are healed and it is that Name that we are saved, “Those who call upon My name WILL be saved.” If you don’t know what that Name is you can’t call on the TRUE CREATOR!

Why do those who write up these Bibles use the word God instead of His real name? Because the Jews don’t want His real Name to be used in vein, so the Jews replaced it with this generic word. Another generic name is Jehovah. The Creator forbade the subtraction and addition to His Word so now people can’t call Him by His real Name because they don’t read Hebrew or Greek for the most part.

In our home, we use His real Name and not this generic form.

Now, let’s get to your premise that the koran commands its followers to follow Jesus which is ALSO not His real name. Jesus is a transliteration, and has no power in, and of itself. In fact, in Mexico, Jesus is a very common name.

Yeshua is His real name, but I will allow you to study His name so you can be blessed in that study as you will be blessed in the study of the creator’s Name. Study it in Hebrew because that language which goes back to the Tower of Babel, is a beautiful language, rich with history and meaning.

Yeshua is the Creator. read John 1: 1-5.

The koran says that there is no god but allah so how can the koran teach them that “jesus” is a great prophet, so follow him, when there is no god but allah? Because mohammad changed the definition of this Jesus. It’s not the Biblical Jesus, it’s their version of jesus. Be careful.

The jesus mohammad is talking about IS NOT the Scriptural Creator Yeshua. My Yeshua is YHVH and not this made up jesus mohammad is talking about. islam sez that there is no god but allah. So far all the terms islam uses are generic, have no meaning, stolen, covering up the Truth. And there is NOT many Truths. That would be a contradiction in terms. So who is telling the Truth? The Word of YHVH or mohammad and his book? The Truth is the Word of the Creator NOT this book called the koran.

By the very nature of Truth there can only be one Truth! There can be many differt beliefs, but there can only be One Truth!

You state: “That was in 600+AD after the Catholic Church took away all things written by God to the Jews. They changed times and seasons as prophesied in Daniel.”

I completely agree with you! Thank goodness that my Creator is in control because He is bringing back a Torah filled life. We follow Torah, but when we blow it we have a loving, merciful Creator who forgives us, and allows us to get back up and start over! The Creator is not a vengeful, unmerciful, unforgiving Creator who sez such evil like “if you shed your own blood for me then I have a heaven of virgins waiting for you.” That’s called human sacrifice, and Yeshua was the One who became that sacrifice so we don’t have to!

The Moa’dim, appointed times, aka seasons and festivals are extremely important to observe as it tells us where we are on the prophetic calender. So I couldn’t agree with you more that we must maintain those observances.

You state: “There is no God but Jehovah the Father of Jesus Christ. Jesus prayed to Him. Jehovah is greater than Jesus according to Jesus.”

This is NOT scripture! There is NO such thing as three Gods in Scripture. There is ONE God known as the triune godhead which means One God, three personalites. Jesus is not the literally son of a father known as God. He is the Creator who came to earth in human form to die for the sins of the world. Some people will balk at this, but I will ask them right now: Are you saying that the Creator who created the human body can’t live in it himself and come to the earth He created? Sure He can. Jews fall on this as well. Followers of the Creator follow ONE Creator not three gods. That’s blasphemy!

You state: “Islam has great error, not following the word of God through Muhammad whose primary message is to follow the whole Bible (Torah – Law, Gospels and Prophets) He is a warner to Christians and Jews who still reject the truth, as he is today.”

This is another lie. mohammad is not a “warner” to Christians and Jews. This is impossible. The Word of YHVH is the warner to all mankind! Yeshua is the Creator which is established through many Scriptures, John 1:1-5, as the example here in this discussion. As Yeshua was on the cross dying He made a statement, “It is finished.” Why would the Creator make this statement and then over a 1000 years later decide to change His mind and violate His own Torah by having a false prophet write a new book called the koran on the claim that Jews and Christians need a “warner” because they aren’t following His word? Why would the Creator change His Word because of all of that? Why would the Creator change His Mind when He stated, “I am the same yesterday, today and tomorrow?” If mohammad was a “warner” like you claim then why doesn’t he simply say, “Get back to the Torah!” and follow that Torah himself as the example to his followers? Because mohammad didn’t give a rip about Torah. He is a demon possessed hater of human life. mohammad choose death not life! His followers glory in death and brutality, not life and charity and faith.

What is the common denominator in all of this “changin’ going on around here?” It’s man! Islam claims that because MAN has violated the Creators’ Words that the Creator sent a MAN who is also a false prophet by Torah standards to write a new Word? Ah, NO!

The Creator commands MAN to never add or subtract from His Word. This is why Mormons aren’t followers of the Creator either. Galatians 1: 6-8 sez: “I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Messiah to a different Good News; and there isn’t another Good News. Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Messiah. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any Good News other than that which we preached to you, let him be [eternally] cursed.”

So Paul, a Jew, and Follower of Torah, and the Messiah reminds us NOT to add or subtract from the Good NEWS, the Scripture.

You state: “Jesus came to fulfill scriptures not to start a new religion. Muhammad did not come to start a new religion, but to bring correction.”

Another misunderstanding! Yeshua came to fulfill Scripture and NOT to start a new religion–very true, BUT there is a new religion called islam, and mohammad is the one who started it, and he used the sword to do it! Study this political system (http://www.politicalislam.com) that happens to have a religion and a legal system attached to it. It is an imperialistic and violent system, and it has nothing to do with the Creator’s Words. You must study how it was started, and what its goals are before you make such naive statements!

You state: “Jews cannot believe in a Messiah who did away with the Law of Moses and that is the only Jesus Christians preach.”

Where did the Messiah do away with the Law? This is a lie! Yeshua, the Messiah NEVER did away with His own Word! The facts are that Yeshua, the Messiah said, “If you love Me, you will OBEY my COMMANDMENTS, STATUTES, ORDINANCES AND MY LAW!” He said this over and over and over again!

Again, it is MAN who makes these claims NOT the Messiah! You conclude by saying, “He would have been a false prophet of Deuteronomy 13 if he did away with God’s law. Jesus repeatedly said we must follow all God’s words… they begin in Genesis.”

I concur! But since the Messiah never made such claims He is NOT a false prophet according to Torah. But mohammad is a false prophet because he teaches that Yeshua is ONLY a prophet and NOT the Creator! Blasphemy!

You state, “Leviticus 26 outlines 4 x 7 curses UNTIL we admit we are wrong.”

The operable word is repentance. We must repent. We have a merciful Creator who is quick to forgive, slow to anger, and will pour out His mercy upon us.

Read this beautiful Psalm 119 as just one of 100s of beautiful verses describing YHVH’s forgiveness for us IF we REPENT:

    • 1. Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, Who walk according to the law of the LORD.
    • 2. Blessed are those who keep his statutes, Who seek him with their whole heart.
    • 3. Yes, they do nothing wrong. They walk in his ways.
    • 4. You have commanded your precepts, That we should fully obey them.

    • 153. Consider my affliction, and deliver me, For I don’t forget your law.

    • 175. Let my soul live, that I may praise you. Let your ordinances help me.
    • 176. I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I don’t forget your mitzvot.

What a beautiful picture of YHVH’s love for us! By the way, mitzvot means the singular law.

Unlike what mohammad states that muslims should treat YHVH’s creation (humanity) with contempt, and evil if they don’t follow allah’s ways. I have all the suras up above for your review.

You state, “All our modern ways are against God: debt, interest, insurance, seeking riches and honor, immodesty, immorality etc. There is no truth or soundness in us and our system is being broken down.”

Yes, all of this comes as no surprise to those who read and study the Bible! It’s called the End Times.

You state, “The goal in life is not employment; that caused world problems.”

No, SIN caused the world’s problems NOT employment! SIN, not following the Creator’s Law which talks about employment quite a bit actually!

You state, “The goal is a retirement lifestyle in a garden paradise we create with trees, plants and animals that give food around us. That solves the world problems at the same time. It is easy, fair, inexpensive and sustainable throughout the ages. It is the way of God. The way is prepared before us. The decision and consequences belong to us.”

No, the Goal is to have a close, personal walk with the Creator YHVH and He will supply our needs according to HIS Will. We can do nothing except TRUST in HIM!

He also states in IIChron. 7:14, If MY PEOPLE, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will HEAL THEIR LAND.

Your link was removed because it doesn’t speak the Truth as Written in Scripture. I will not be party to allowing those kinds of mistruths on this blog.

To conclude you stated that God’s Truth doesn’t need to be reformed. This is very true! It’s YHVH”s people who need to be reformed!

al said: I used to attend an Arab-American church, and I can assure you that Allah is *not* the Muslim word for God, but the *Arabic* word for God.

The Arabic word for god is ilah, most notably when the Islamic Scriptures say “there is no ilah except Allah.” The God of the Bible’s Name is Yahuweh (which means I Exist). The name Allah is the personal name of the Islamic god.

Al said: And, etymologically, Allah is closely related to Hebrew names for God such as Elohim and Eloah.

No it’s not, the name Allah is related to the Hebrew word ‘alah, which means “to utter a curse,” “to speak words harmful to God,” “binds by way of an oath,” “accursed – that which has been damned,” “to mourn, to lament, to wail, howl, and shriek,” “unable and unfit,” “invoke spiritual harm by way of retribution.” The word ‘alah defines Satan in the Scriptures, it defines Israel’s enemies. Also, the Hebrew word Heylal, which is Satan’s name is based on the Hebrew word halal, which is linked the word ‘alah. Allah is Satan disguised.

So it doesn’t matter how often or how loud a Muslim shouts Allahu Akbar, all they’re doing is uttering curses on behalf of a false god that’s unable to accomplish its tasks.

al, please read Psalm 83 very carefully, notice how the Bible has prophecied Islam’s demise, and after Yahuweh destroys Islam Muslims will come to realise and know that Yahuweh is the Most High. Our God even used a play on words because He knows Muslims love to shout that Allah is the Greatest but God says here in Psalm 83 that Muslims will end up realising that Yahuweh is the Greatest, that He is the Most High.

Amen Matthew, AMEN! It’s time to start praying the imprecatory prayers such as Psalm 83. They work and it’s a wonderful thing to watch YHVH answer those prayers. Unlike allah, the false god who has lied to billions of people. he can’t answer any prayer! All he can do is lie!

Mosques, like churches, teach false religion; generally, it is not according to the word of God to the prophets. There is One God, known by many names in many languages. He is the God of the children of Israel and the Bible. The primary message of the Qur’an through the prophet Muhammad is to follow the whole Bible, be not divided therein.

There is the power of Satan and the power of God. God has given Satan authority to examine his people, to give them the opportunity to make a choice between God’s word or any other word. He only has authority to suggest something, he has no power to impose. Words other than God’s belong to Satan. We must be tried in all things for our own good. We must know there is an adversary trying to turn us away from the truth of God.

Allah is answering prayers of Muslims who want Him to rule and those who fight against evil. Jesus said to live by every word of God and Christians do not; if God be God, follow Him according to every word out of the mouth of God. Jesus told of false prophets coming saying Jesus is Christ and deceive many. YHVH, God, commanded not to add to or diminish from His commands, that is 7th day (Saturday- Exodus 20) Sabbath of no work, Passover, New Year (Exodus 12), Feast of Tabernacles, Day of Attonement etc. (Leviticus 23, ) and Leviticus 26 shows the blessing and the 4 x7 curses according to following or not the word of God as it is written. We are seeing the curses. God is witnessing against us.

Marie, you are correct when you say that those in mosques are hearing about a false religion. In using the word “church” I have to agree with you that most churches are teaching incorrect Biblical teachings IF they denounce the Torah. In Messianic circles we do not use the word church witch is a catholic word, we use the word “assemblies” or congregation which is a Biblical term.

There is only ONE YHVH, Creator of the Universe, this is true, but YHVH has only ONE NAME. What you might be thinking about is His many different facets and descriptions. For example, YHVH Rophi, The ONE YHVH who Heals. This is not a different name but a description of what YHVH does. Another example, YHVH El Ohim Tsabaoth–The ONE YHVH who is God of Hosts! Again, not another name, but a description of the same YHVH. So you are incorrect when you say that “There is One God, known by many names in many languages.”

There is only ONE NAME by which you can saved and that is the Name of YHVH.

I see you have many contradictions and you are confused.

Satan does not have authority from YHVH! YHVH gave authority to Adam. When Adam sinned Satan gained control as a foothold but when Yeshua died for the entire race of Adam, the authority original given to Adam was restored in the person known as Yeshua. Satan usurped Adam’s authority because of Adam’s sin. At NO TIME did YHVH EVER grant authority to satan, or hasatan. In his sin, Adam yielded his authority to satan which was never authorized by YHVH.

You state, “God has given Satan authority to examine his people, to give them the opportunity to make a choice between God’s word or any other word.”

Are you referring to satan’s people or YHVH’s people?

YHVH never tests or tempts anyone since He is Holy, satan is the one who tests and tempts, and steals, and kills, and destroys. NOT YHVH!

You state, “He only has authority to suggest something, he has no power to impose.”

What about demonic possession? I sure believe that is an imposition!

You state, “We must be tried in all things for our own good.”

    Read James 1: 12-14

You state: “Allah is answering prayers of Muslims who want Him to rule and those who fight against evil.”

I have no clue what you mean. allah is a false god and can only lie, kill, steal and destroy and if you look at the pure koran you will see much killing, stealing and destroying. I have listed above 100s of suras on how to deal with the infidel that everyone seems to ignore. Don’t know why, but you will not find any loving going on in the koran. It’s a book of lies just like the satanic “bible” is a book of lies and should be held up as an example of what we do not want humanity to engage in!

You state: “Jesus told of false prophets coming saying Jesus is Christ and deceive many.”

Are you suggesting the Jesus is not YHVH? You would be WRONG!

The word JESUS is NOT YHVH’s name. It is a transliteration of YESHUA. Yeshua IS YHVH and IS the Messiah and I would like you to come back to this blog and make yourself CLEAR on what you mean. If you mean to tell me that the one known as Jesus in the English translation of Scripture is not YHVH you are a false prophet and I will not allow you to speak blasphemy on this blog. So plz make yourself clear because your sentence structure is contradictory.

You state: “YHVH, God, commanded not to add to or diminish from His commands, that is 7th day (Saturday- Exodus 20) Sabbath of no work, Passover, New Year (Exodus 12), Feast of Tabernacles, Day of Attonement etc. (Leviticus 23, ) and Leviticus 26 shows the blessing and the 4 x7 curses according to following or not the word of God as it is written. We are seeing the curses. God is witnessing against us.”

Yes, true. This was prophesied in Scripture 1000s of years ago.

It would behoove you, Marie, to throw out your website because it is heretical. ONLY READ SCRIPTURE for one year and you will see where you have gone wrong.

Thanks for responding. You have some good points, but you are wrong on some. First, my website is not heretical. I pretty much limit myself to reading actual scripture without commentary. I read the Bible from front to end frequently. We must be careful we do not get into denominational superiority and become argumentative. God sent his word not to condemn man, but to save him.

“There is One God, known by many names in many languages.”
That is a true statement. There is only One Supreme Creator. My name is Marie because my father was Greek, in Italian and Spanish circles, they call me Mary, in Islamic circles they call me Miriam. I am not offended by another language and neither is God. We are not called to separate ourselves from people of other languages. God has prophets around the world to gather people of all nations. His message is alway to follow His Law, His truth and be saved.

When Moses asked God His name, He said, I AM has sent you. Then He said, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob; that is My name and My memorial forever. Allah means “the God” to the Muslims and those that use the Qur’an in truth. Errors and changes have been made in the Qur’an, but there is no error in those things that God told to Muhammad. There are prophecies and cross referencing and verifying other prophets and holy books. Concentrate on whatsoever things are true; the rest will fall away.

In the story of Job, God gave Satan authority with Job. For people to have choice, there has to be a choice. We can follow God’s ways, or Satan’s which simply means ignoring God’s ways. The story of Job shows that some sicknesses and affliction are not the result of sinning; that is so we do not judge people, but each person needs to examine themselves if they are sick or afflicted because that is one of the signed they might need correcting; Leviticus 26. “The curse causeless does not come” but sometimes the cause is perfecting of a righteous person, answer to prayer, or other good reason.

Speaking of the Qur’an, you said it is full of killing the infidels etc. Have you read the Bible. Stone your child if he is rebellious. He killed the children of Israel who refused Him coming out of Egypt. He stirred up nations against a disobedient Israel. Great slaughters were made against the children of Israel according to fulling God’s word. The attrocities against Jews were no surprise to God and they should be no surprise to us because the same things will come upon us if we do not repent. He brought famines, so bad, people ate their own children. When He says that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God, He means it. Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 are warnings as well as good news.

If God does not give Satan power, who does? Leviticus 26, if we refuse his ways He says, I will appoint over you terror and 4 x 7 curses are outlined. In answer to Solomon’s prayer, God said, when I send the locust or pestilences etc…. and my people repent, then I will… forgive their sins. In Jeremiah he says when I pronounce evil against a nation and it repent, I will repent of evil I planned. In Isaiah He says I kill and I make alive. also I create good and I create evil. There is nothing but God; He is in all things and all things were created to gather us to His truth. If there were no dire consequences, we would not be gathered; we would all go our own way in error.

You are right “assemblies” or “congregations” would be better words than using the word “church.”

False teaching abounds in many denominations and religions. They do not follow what is written. The primary message of the Qur’an is to follow the whole Bible. Satan does not say that. Jesus said, Many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and deceive many. That is because they ignor His words to live by every word of God and follow all His Father’s commandments. They are confused, not knowing who Jesus is or what his mission was. They pray to him, though he said to pray to the Father in his name. They follow the Catholic Church errors that took away all the law God gave to the children of Israel, even as it was prophesied in Daniel, changing times and seasons and ending the daily sacrifice.

You asked: “Are you suggesting the Jesus is not YHVH? You would be WRONG!

The word JESUS is NOT YHVH’s name. It is a transliteration of YESHUA. Yeshua IS YHVH and IS the Messiah and I would like you to come back to this blog and make yourself CLEAR on what you mean. If you mean to tell me that the one known as Jesus in the English translation of Scripture is not YHVH you are a false prophet and I will not allow you to speak blasphemy on this blog. So plz make yourself clear because your sentence structure is contradictory.”

Let Jesus answer that touchy question:
Jesus said, “This is life eternal that they would know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you sent.” On the cross Jesus said, My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?’ Jesus said, “I go to my God and your God, to my Father and your Father.” Jesus said, “My Father is greater than I.” In Revelation, those that are saved keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ, worship God.

We are all to come to the full stature of Christ. Immanuel means “God with us.” not God instead of us. We, like Jesus Christ, are the containers, the bodies. When we take on the word of God as our brain, mind, heart and purpose, and let it govern us, then God is with us. We are one with God, as Jesus was one with God. God is acting through us using our bodies.

When Jesus condemns one of the 7 churches for leaving their first love, it was YHvH they left. They stopped at Jesus. They should be saying that this is what God did through Jesus Christ.

On the cross, the blood that was spilled was YHVH’s blood because of the virgin birth. In humanity, the blood comes from the father, not the mother. The life is in the blood, so God was on the cross in Jesus. God did not forsake Jesus on the cross, He prophesied of it, and it had to come to pass; and Jesus had already given permission in the Garden of Gethsemene when he said, “Not my will but Thine.” We need to see and worship God as Jesus did, then God will be in us too. The scriptures say, “ye are gods, but ye shall die as men.”

Thanks for the opportunity to answer. Some questions cannot be answered with a yes or no, but if we let God be God and Jesus be the Son of God and the Word of God, we will do fine.

    Marie,

You still have some heresy here, and some of what you say is wrong because you have some weird translation, perhaps. What translation do you read anyway?

You say YHVH creates evil. No He does not. “YHVH is light and in Him the is NO DARKNESS.”

You state, “Allah means “the God” to the Muslims and those that use the Qur’an in truth. Errors and changes have been made in the Qur’an, but there is no error in those things that God told to Muhammad. There are prophecies and cross referencing and verifying other prophets and holy books. Concentrate on whatsoever things are true; the rest will fall away.”

WRONG!! Can’t say it any louder here. mohammad is a FALSE PROPHET. YHVH says DO NOT ADD OR SUBTRACT FROM MY WORD. PERIOD. mohammad made a claim that he had a wrote a different book because the Torah had been corrupted. Really? And why would we trust mohammad when Yeshua said is was finished on that cross? Either Yeshua was lying or mohammad was lying and you are going to have to choose.

Hey, how about this: I am going to have a guest on my radio show this coming Thursday, Feb. 12, 6 pm PST at this site:

Why don’t you join us and call in with your comments about mohammad and allah. I am sure my guest will have a response to that. It might make for an interesting show hearing what you have to say.

Also, I do not belong to ANY denomination and I don’t go to church.

I’m confuzzled as to why this is an issue. Surely the greater issue would be that there is NO proof that any supernatural being exists, whatever you call him/her.

  10. mariedevine
    Feb 15th, 2009 at 15:50

Isabel, the proof that God exists is that He said He created all life forms fully made with a seed to multiply after its own kind. Science proves that. Multiplying generally needs a male and a female, God said He created them male and female. Science proves life multiplies through male and female.

God said He gave strong delusion to those who refused to know Him, that they should believe a lie. Evolution does not know where our first beginning came from; neither do they know how we got to next stages before dying out.

The proof of a loving God who gave guidance for people so they would not destroy themselves rests in the fact that since we have ignored His wisdom, we are on the verge of destroying ourselves totally. He is a great God and you can believe every word of God. Jesus said to live by every word of God. Begin at the beginning of the Bible and believe we are supposed to follow it. Most of what we are supposed to do is easy to understand. You do not need to get tied up with other details until you first find what you should be doing. Hint: We were never to take on the culture of those around us.

We began in a garden paradise and we are to end up in a garden paradise. If we begin that now, we will solve the world problems we created by ignoring His wisdom. God can only save believers. God bless you with His wisdom.

ear No Comprimies: Sorry I missed your program, but I fight this war on many fronts.

You commented against me: “You say YHVH creates evil. No He does not. “YHVH is light and in Him the is NO DARKNESS.”

I read the King James Bible often- front to back. Isaiah 45:5-7 “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside Me…:6 ….. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

Deuteronomy 32:39 “See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me: I kill and I make alive; I wound, and I heal…”

Leviticus 26: He gives blessings for obedience then begins warnings for 4 x 7 curses that He will bring upon disobedience: :16 ” I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the buurning ague that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart:…”

Revelation 2:23 “And I will kill her children with death.” That is abortion. Did He do it? Yes and No. These are the curses He pronounce against those that would not follow His wisdom. We make the choice.

You said I was wrong: WRONG!! Can’t say it any louder here. mohammad is a FALSE PROPHET. YHVH says DO NOT ADD OR SUBTRACT FROM MY WORD. PERIOD. ”

God said that in Deuteronomy 4:2; does that mean that all the writings of the prophets including Jesus after that should not have written books and recorded God’s word and His doings? The answer is No. God gave direction-commandments for life in the Law of Moses. It was never to be changed. When people began following differently from what God said, He sent prophets to bring correction with words that mean Follow what I said. He also sent prophets to help keep the leaders in line and to fulfill prophecies he has given prophets (some of which are referred to in the Bible, but we do not have their writings.)

The primary message of the Prophet Muhammad was to say to follow the whole Bible. Over and over in different ways they are told to follow all God’s prophets. It always points back to the Law through Moses with its Holy Sabbaths of no work and God’s memorial Feasts (Leviticus 23).

You said, “mohammad made a claim that he had a wrote a different book because the Torah had been corrupted. ”

Mohammad was iliterate. He never wrote a book and never commanded a book to be written. His power was that this iliterate man could quote God’s warnings without knowing them.

“The Torah was corrupted” was an overstatement; though things had been taken out that had even the name Jesus Christ (English version) known from Adam and Eve’s time. They were restored by Joseph Smith Jr. in 1800′s by God’s power through the Urim and Thummim. He also transcribed a lost portion of the Books of Moses and a book of Abraham that Muhammad referred to. They are in the Pearl of Great Price at the LDS.org/scriptures site.

Muhammad verified the Book of Mormon as a book that had already gone forth for an appointed time…. in a well guarded tablet … witnessed by a chosen few. That book was a history of a people God led out of Jerusalem 600 BC and ended 600 AD. Muhammad was after that time.

This is a prophet… not perfect, but God used him for His purposes. God always stirred up an enemy against the children of Israel when they strayed from His truth. The children of Islam are more followers of the words of Jesus than Christians; but both need to get back to “it is written.” The Qur’an and the New Testament do not contain the Law of God through the prophets; it points to it to be followed.

The Word is God and the world was created by the word of God. It was the word that is the son of God. The word dwelt in the man Jesus, meaning God dwelt in the man Jesus. Jesus said, My Father is greater than I. Jesus was a container doing the will of God. We are all to come to the full stature of Jesus. Then we are one with God. God is with us-Immanuel. His name shall be called Immanuel, not YHVH. If Jesus were the One and only God alone, he would not have prayed to his Father.

The plural of God are not three personalities; they are divisions of authority of the One True God.
The Father- is the will of God, the beginning and end of all things.

The Son- is the word of God, only says what the Father, the will of God desires.

The Holy Spirit- is the power or faithfulness of God to guide and protect people and otherwise fulfill God’s will and word. It does nothing on its own.

You said, “And why would we trust mohammad when Yeshua said is was finished on that cross? Either Yeshua was lying or mohammad was lying and you are going to have to choose. ”

If Jesus meant that no other writings were to come forward bringing better understanding, the Gospels, the Book of Revelation, the writings of the Apostles would not be in the Bible. The prophecies of Jesus being crucified and being rejected by his own were fulfilled according to all the words of the prophets.

Religions have tended to think that all things pointed to Jesus and that is not what it was about. All things point to the faithfulness of God to fulfill His word no matter how horrific it sounds.

The scripture says, Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves and all the more as the end approaches. If you have wisdom, you need to get with a congregation that keeps the Saturday Sabbath and do what you can in Bible studies to perfect those people and to listen closely to hear how God is trying to correct you.

Check out my website: http://www.divine-way.com to see how to overcome the evils of our culture (false religion, and wrong direction in government) and how to bring in the Kingdom of God… that is the objective. God has solutions to world problems we created by ignoring His wisdom.

Let us clarify your error. There may have been a moon-god at one time that they called “the god” (Allah means The God).

NC edits **comment removed for blasphemy** I will tolerate alot on this blog except blasphemy against YHVH!

A moon-god is fictional belief, it does not exist except in a person’s mind. It cannot give commands or orders. There could have been misunderstanding of true word of God that entered into the belief.

Allah of the Qur’an gave direction to follow the whole Bible, and all God sent down. That is agreement with God’s message through Moses and Jesus who were told to say to live by every word of God.

Go to any encyclopedia and look under Allah, and it will confirm that the Allah of the Qur’an is the same God as the Jews and Christians. All proclaim there is one God. He is the same.

People have got to be people and not sheeple. You don’t need to read any writing from anyone to solve this simple question: Is Allah the pagan moon god? All you have to do is read the English translation of the meanings of the Qur’an. To read the Qur’an you have to be able to read and understand the Arabic language, so rely on the translation of the meanings if you can’t.

But before I get into Qur’anic text I want to address this…

The three major pagan gods of Arabia were Allat, Uzah, and Manat. Now the original post says:

“It is believed that Hubal may have been a forerunner of al-Llah, which means The God, and may be the reason that Mosques have a moon sign over them. Hubal had three daughters. The devil tricked Mohamed into saying in the Koran that they should be worshipped. The lines that Mohamed wrote in the Koran about the daughters are known as the Satanic Verses.”

First of all, the statement “it is believed” doesn’t substantiate truth! Second, as I said Al-Llah doesn’t mean ‘The God’ in Arabic…not even close. Arabic is a phonetic language, meaning, that the root letters without the vowel give the basic meaning of the word. This science in the Arabic language is called ‘Sarf’. The Pre-Islamic pagan god is called Allat and the ‘ta’ (arabic letter) which gives the ‘t’ sound in the word Allat cannot give the meaning of The God or Supreme God. Third, there are no ‘satanic verses’ in the Qur’an, this is a lie people. Religious theologists are in consensus of this whether they are Muslim or not. The ideology of Satanic verses has been propogated by evangelical Christians, orientalists, and disinfo agents. Forth, the meaning linguistically, for Allah is Al-ilaah…ie The One True God that has the right to be worshipped.

    Now…the Qur’an

The Qur’an clearly states in different places to worship (Him and Him alone)…’Him’ as a reference not that HE is a man or human. In the Qur’an Allah states that HE is separated and distinct from His Creation. Further, rebutting this claim because Allah knows all, HE says do not worship or prostrate to the Sun nor the Moon. HE further names the people who were known to worship the Moon, their mistakes, and their abode…HE called them Maajoos (Magians). In essence the Qur’an primarily emphasizes singling HIM out in worship, the benefits of doing so, and the punishment for associating partners with HIM.

    Read it for yourself:

Finally, this argument is very elementary and if the goal is to show superiority then it is a big fail. Take it from an American who has learned the Arabic language and this argument just doesn’t work. Arab Christians call God Allah because it is befitting. Allah is not the God of Muslims,

By the way, the crescent moon that is seen on many mosques has no legitimacy in Islam. It doesn’t come from any authentic Islamic text. In fact, the crescent moon comes from the infiltration of Free Masons amongst Muslims. Not all mosques have the crescent moon and don’t find Muslims having honor, love, or reverence for it. Especially, like the Christians have for the cross or the Jews with the star of David. Neither of these emblems have any bearing in those religions as well. The cross and the so-called star of David have occultic origins and they are violations of the first of the Ten Commandments.

You just don’t get it. You don’t have to take it from you (the Jew…Edomite) nor any lying Arabs or any ex-Muslims. All any intelligent person has to do is read the Qur’an and it will prove how unintelligent you are. You have an agenda and it is very clear to the intelligent and the well read. No truly intelligent person would say such a thing. No one who truly knows the Arabic language would say that Allah is the moon god, this is absurd. You should try another tactic because this one doesn’t work at all. Study the Arabic language and you’ll see how badly you are representing yourself. You should have more honor for yourself and God before saying such a thing.

I have a challenge for you. Since we know that the Bible (Biblos) in it’s original form was written in Aramaic and “Ancient Hebrew” (both of which are nearly lost languages). Was the original verse, which uses the word Yahweh, the same word used in Aramaic or Ancient Hebrew. Furthermore, you call yourself a Jew which comes from Judah. Moses’ followers were not Jews, this is a made up term as the term Christian is a made up term as the word Bible is a made up term. The tribe of Judah were Edomites which also means that Jesus was not a Jew, but he was sent to the Edomites who rejected him (peace be upon him).

The crescent moon has been part of this demonic cult going all the way back to Isaiah’s time. All you have to do is research with the desire for Truth and not to fulfill some political agenda. Although, i agree with you that the cross isn’t in the New Covenant, I don’t agree with you re: the star of david. The star was David’s shield. It was the collection of the letters in his name. It’s not his fault nor the symbol’s fault if people do something with it that it was never intended to be.

Going back to Islam: Islam is demonic in origin. All you have to do is read about mohammad and his life and with all demonic things there is nothing new under the sun. The crescent moon goes far back into history. However, who cares about that when the very ideology of islam is to subject those who disagree with its ideology. Simple. If you are supporting this demonic political system then you have to take it for what it is advocates. Are you willing to say right here and now that you adhere to what the koran says and commands in all that it commands?

Oh, yeah, and finally, I have heard these illogical arguments that the kkkoran can only be understood in arabic. Well, arabic has changed quite a bit since the 700s so don’t tell me that your stupid killing book can only be understood in arabic! It can’t be that great of a “holy” book if your god can only speak to people in one language. I don’t need to study the arabic language as I would prefer to study Hebrew. Arabic is very close to Hebrew anyway.

You are getting your panties in a bunch of the word “allah,” (BIHF)! That is what you call your god, not me. You are the one who called allah, YHVH. They are not the same. You are the one who says allah is just a word for god. Agreed. However, YHVH IS NOT just a word and it’s certainly NOT the word for god in Hebrew. It IS the creator’s name just like I have a name. My name isn’t girl and your name isn’t boy. You have a name and so does the Creator. You call your god allah, a generic word. I call your god Satan, Lucifer, Hasatan and his destiny is preordained by YHVH to the Lake of Fire for deceiving people like you!

Repent of this dangerous belief system you are adhering to and ask YHVH if he is real and He will prove it to you. I know when you talk to your moon god his ears are deaf to you, but YHVH’s ears are never deaf!

I do believe in all of the tenets of the Qur’an, but not as you do. The Star of David is an occultic symbol by join two triangles or pyramids in the opposite direction. If you research the occultic symbols you’ll see that it is true. The fact still remains that you don’t know Arabic and classical Arabic has not changed at all. This can be easily proved by the called “lisan al-Arab” (the tongue of the Arabs) which is a pre-islamic Arabic language book. The fact is that you do have to know Arabic and many sciences of the Qur’an, namly Asbab an-Nozool (reasons behind revealations) and differientiating between Meccan and Medinan verses. These killing verses commonly misquoted by ignorant Muslims and non-Muslims are not applicable except for the time in which they were revealed, which was when the tribe of Quraish broke the peace treaty in Mecca. Those verses were Meccan verses. Furthermore, the historical treaty of Hudaibiyah which was between the Jews of Medina and the tribes of Medinah would have been a violation of those so-called killing verses. Instead it wasn’t a violation and the Muslims, Jews, and tribes of Medina gathered as one army and defeated the invading Quraish Tribe.

It’s funny that you didn’t address my challenge because you don’t want to go there I understand. Your emotions are blinding you and keeping you in the state of ignorance. I really don’t care what you believe because the Qur’an teaches us that there is no compulsion in religion and to advise “the people of the book” (Jews and Christians)….so this is my advise to you. You fail to understand or wish to continue to make an attempt to anger me which you can’t or continue to be a disinfo agent which you aren’t very good at. ilaah means god a generic term in Arabic. Allah is Al-ilaah, the One true God that has the only right to be worshipped. We say Allah as one of His perfect names. As Allah says that I have mentioned some of my names as I have mentioned to generations before you and some I have not. The Creator in Arabic is Al-Khaaliq, Al-Baseer (The All-Seeing) As-Samee’ (The All Hearing), Al-Hakim (The All Knowing), Al-Ahad (The One), As-Samad (The Absolute), Al-Alye (The Most High) and there about 99 names and attributes of Allah mentioned in the Qur’an and there are many more from other authentic Islamic sources. The Creator in Hebrew is הבורא and Yahweh is יהוה so even in Hebrew there is a distinction. You can’t simply begin to deal with linguistics until your able to step out of the English lexicon.

The stuff you said about the crescent moon is correct, but as I said you can’t find an Islamic text to support it being part of Islam. It has nothing to do with Islam. Early Muslims didn’t use the crescent moon it is a new phenomena and many early Muslim scholars have refuted it explained its origin as early as 800 years ago plus. The moon god lie is also new.

So you have a new challenge. You lost the last one by forfeit. Bring a verse from the Qur’an or an authentic tradition of the Prophet which substantiates the crescent moon as a legitimate symbol of Islam. Don’t try to use the fact that we begin fasting the month of Ramadan by sighting the moon because we don’t sight it by a crescent moon. This is a lie too.

If you call Allah Satan, then you are totally lost, confused, and only God can heal your stupidity. Satan is nowhere near being anything close to God. Satan is a creation of God allowed to mislead and confuse mankind because of his arrogance and jealously of mankind. In fact, if you do research you’ll find that 7th and 8th Biblical scribes and scholars borrowed the Adam and Eve story from the Qur’an because it was incomplete and had no proper order in relation to the other verse in the their current Bible. This is a well documented academic research which you can’t quote any recognized academic research to support your claims. In fact, there are several Jews and Christians that have conducted academic research and they say the exact opposite of what your saying. Academically, you don’t have a leg to stand on, but in the realm of the internet cest pool, everyone has their soap box to stand on.

Anyone can just pick up the Qur’an and see that you are absolutely wrong. As they say, “the proof is in the pudding”. In the near future I’ll be sure to post some quotes from the Mishnah, Zohar Talmudic writings and see what you have to say about those….lol

Well, if you believe in “all tenets of the kkkoran” then you advocate the murder of YHVH’s creation!

You didn’t challenge me on anything! I put out a challenge a very long time ago, not you!

100s of muslims have gotten on this blog and NOT ONE has been able to explain those 27 pages of suras posted above. Explain the suras that I have posted on this page. They are listed above and you can’t miss them. Are you going to say that we can’t understand those suras because we don’t read them in arabic? Bull crap.

The kkkoran was written by a demonically possessed pedophile, seeing demons in some cave. His own family members said he was possessed of satan! The kkkoran advocates the mass murder of anyone who chooses NOT follow the pagan moon god!

You and I will never agree! Why? Because your kkkoran, which you hold tightly to, advocates the destruction, the terrorizing, the taxing and then the mass murder of kafirs, Jews and Christians.

You also believe it’s perfectly accepted to have sex will little girls. Mohammad married a 6 yr old and then had sex with her when she was 9. Gur-Ross!

Anyone who advocates the destruction of what YHVH created is exactly like mohammad and anyone who believes in having sex with little kids is disgusting, and no free thinking Society will ever tolerate that behavior! You sure you want to be in agreement with that? If you are in agreement with that lifestyle you really ought to trek out to Saudi Arabia. You will be amongst your own people because you sure won’t be among your own people in Western Society!

Don’t think for one minute you challenged me because you didn’t! You have enough on your plate explaining why you believe in that disgusting cult known as Islam!

Allah spelled using the three letters alif-lamad-ha in Arabic means “G-d”. In Aramaic it is spelled with the same three letters. It has the definite article a on the end and is spelled using only one l, i.e. Alaha or Alaaha. Christ prayed to and worshipped Alaaha. Western ignorance of these Semitic languages drives too many to say Allah in Arabic is a moon god.

In Arabic, Allah means literally the one God. It is pretty easy to understand how different languages give the same thing different names. Is it that unusual to hear Muslims call God another name, like “Allah”, while you call him God or Lord? Some people have no minds; in the last decade, a growing phenomenon was seen on the internet and in published literature. Allah is said to be the “moon god” that Arabs worshiped, and Kaaba (The Muslims holiest place on Earth) is His temple. The evidence for this theory is the crescent that appears on the top of many mosques all over the world plus a fabricated picture of the “moon god”.

This idea is very dangerous. If you believe that Muslims are worshiping an idol, then there is no basis even to talk to them. They are pagan idolaters like Hindus and Buddhists. It is alleged that although Islam is a monotheistic religion, the Muslims’ only God is simply another idol that Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) chose (or in some versions of the story, he made it up).

To invalidate this foolish theory, one has to take the story from different angles.

The crescent is not a symbol of Islam, but of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottomans are those tribes that moved to Turkey from east and middle Asia. They converted to Islam and built a huge Muslim Empire that ruled the whole Muslim world for centuries. When they took Islam as a religion they started using the lunar calendar, the calendar that was used by Muslims, Jews and early Christians. Even today, the flag of Turkey has a crescent on it. There was no crescent on any mosque built before the Ottomans era.

Prophet Abraham built the Kaaba for people to worship God. While pagan Arabs admitted this fact and even kept the stone where he used to stand to build the Kaaba (Abraham’s station), they brought idols to the Kaaba and worshiped them to get closer to Abraham’s Lord, Allah, God of gods. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) came with the monotheistic message of Islam. Arabs defended these idols and refused to give up the religion of their fathers and grandfathers. They offered to Muhammad a deal, that is to worship their gods for one year, and they worship Allah alone for one year. A chapter of the Quran came with the response from God to this evil invitation:

[Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine. ]109:1-6

Later on, the Quran started calling Allah by other names. One of those holy names was Al-Rahman (the Gracious). Arabs wondered:”is this a new God?” The Quran responded again:

[Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. ]17:110

It is not a new god; it is a new name for the same God. Allah has ninety nine names in Islam; all of them are holy and speak about different attributes of the same creator, almighty Allah. As an example, read these verses of the Quran:

[Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god; Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god; the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him.

He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory; and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.]59:22-24

When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came back to Mecca, he entered the city peacefully on the top of an army of 10,000 men, exactly as the Bible described him “pre-eminent above ten thousand.” (Solomon 5:10). He did not burn a single home; he did not harm a single person; he just went to the Kaaba and destroyed all the gods Arabs had there. He kept nothing in the Kaaba. Where is this picture of the moon god coming from? I don’t know. Did anyone of the pagan Arabs have a digital camera by then?

There is evidence that the word Allah existed before the birth of Muhammad PBUH for thousands of years. It is probably the oldest name man used to call God. Most likely, Adam used the word Allah to call the Lord. On the other hand, the word “GOD” was born with the English language, less than ten centuries ago. Can we say that all English speaking nations are pagans because they use the word “God”? What about Chinese monotheists? How should they call God?

Prophet Muhammad’s father’s name was Abdullah (The slave of Allah). This name was common among Arab pagans and Jews. Abdullah bin Salam was one of the first Jews to convert to Islam in Medina. When Arabs call Allah in prayer they say: “Ya Allah” or “Allahoma”. Aren’t these words familiar to you? “Alleluia” and “Elohim” are the words used to call Allah in the Bible. In Hebrew, the suffix im means many. So Elohim literally means many Allah(s). This is a known way to express dignity and respect to almighty Allah by calling Him pleural. This phenomenon is known in Hebrew, Arabic, English and other languages. In Quran, the same pattern is seen many times. For example, God says in the holy Quran:

[ We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). ]15:9.

In the English translation of the Bible, you read, “Let us make man in our image”-Genesis 1:26-KJV.

The word Allah is used in all Arabic translations of the Bible. It was used in some English translations of the Bible like the original “Scofield Reference Bible”-reference: what is his name? by Deedat. In the New Testament, Jesus is believed to cry before his death “ELOI, ELOI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?” Eloi is the exact Arabic word “Elahi” which comes from the same root as Allah.

I have no doubt that the word “Allah” is the oldest known name man called God with. For those who choose to ignore this fact and transgress, Muslims have nothing to offer. Allah says in the holy Quran:

[If any, after this, invent a lie and attribute it to Allah, they are indeed unjust wrong-doers.] 3:94

For Muslims, Allah is perfect. He has no partners. We worship Him and Him alone. Our faith is summarized in the holy Quran:

[Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.]112:1-4

Jewish and Muslim Sabbath, the similarities, the differences and why.

Intention of the Sabbath (Hebrew; Day of Rest)

Is the Sabbath for Remembering God ? Yes, even more so than resting.

    The Bible editors humanize God in relation to the Sabbath by saying;

“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done” (Genesis 2:2).

Bible editors took the idea that God rested farther still when they wrote as follows: “In six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed” (Exodus 31: 17).

    Is God a human that gets tired and needs to rest and refresh ? Of course not;

“GOD IS NOT A MAN, that he should lie ; NEITHER THE SON OF MAN that he should repent…. (Numbers 19:23)

God in the Quran clarified the matter in His own words when He declared:

“And verily we created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six periods, and naught of weariness touched us” (Quran 50:38 see also v. 15).

Dispelling any human weaknesses attributed to God and showing the intention of the Sabbath is not to rest, but to remember the beautiful Creation God made.

    Even Prophet Jesus emphasizes the misinterpretation of the Sabbath;

Mark 3:1-5: Jesus observed the Sabbath, but criticized the Pharisees’ overly strict rules and regulations concerning the day of rest. He emphasized throughout his ministry a different purpose for the Sabbath: a day to be enjoyed by the believer, and a time when many normal activities were quite permissible.

The idea that God rests like humans and gets refreshed like humans was also criticized by Jesus. According to John, he declared that God never stops working, even on the Sabbath day (see John 5:16).

According to the Holy Quran, the Final Testament, God does not get tired “Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him” (Quran 2:255), verifying the focus of the Sabbath is not rest, but remembrance.

What day was the Sabbath ?

Today we know that the creation process can be measured in billions of years.

The Bible editors could not have known this. In their eagerness to enjoin Sabbath observance on others they wrote that God rested on the very first Sabbath day after finishing up his work of creating the heavens and the earth.

The six days of creation in the book of Genesis was believed to be like six days of any seven-day week. They believed that the reason the Sabbath day became holy is that God Himself had rested on that day.

The scientific discovery regarding the actual time period of the creation of earth causes concern as to which day the Sabbath actually is. The Sabbath can not be associated with the earth creation because that would mean we would have a Sabbath once every 6 billion years.

The Holy Quran simply designates the “Day of Assembly” in addition to clarifying God does not rest, Hence completely dispelling the incompatible association between the Sabbath and Day of Creation as made in the Bible.

Was the Sabbath on Friday or Saturday ? Another tension in the Bible Corrected by God through the Holy Quran is knowing the exact day to practice the Sabbath.

When the Julian calendar was replaced by the Gregorian calendar in 1582 CE, ten days were deleted in order to bring the calendar in synchronism with the seasons. Thus, 1582-OCT-4 (a Thursday) was followed by 1582-OCT-15 (a Friday), indicating the Sabbath was originally Friday, rather than Saturday.

There is no record in the Bible showing who did this or when he did it. So, the present Jewish Sabbath observance can be traced back, through the discontinuity of 1582 CE into ancient times to an arbitrary choice of day by person or persons unknown.

There is thus no reason to believe that there was a seventh day of creation or that there was any continuous celebration of the Sabbath until the 10th century BCE. It is probable that some Jewish official made an arbitrary selection of the day for the first Sabbath about 3 millennia ago. As history shows the intended day for the Sabbath is Friday as in Islam.

    What time was the Sabbath to take place ? The Bible demonstrates that the intended time is for the afternoon, also as in the Islamic teachings;

The Bible makes the strong distinction between day and night, the word “Night” is mentioned in the Jewish Bible ((233)) times yet it is never mentioned in conjunction with the weekly Sabbath,

The Sabbath is always referred to as “The Sabbath Day”. In fact, a distinction is made between the Weekly Daytime Sabbath and a monthly 24 Hour Sabbath.

“It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict yourselves; on the ninth day of the month beginning at evening, from evening to evening shall you keep your sabbath.” Leviticus 23:32

Hence clarifying there are different types of Sabbaths for different time periods and that the weekly Day Sabath was not intended for 24 hours, but rather for the Daytime as the clear distinction is made in Leviticus 23:32

Who was to follow the Sabbath ?

Israelites ask Muslims “If Abraham’s way was the right way, why don’t Muslims follow the Saturday Sabbath ?” The Sabbath has nothing to do with Abraham, it was instituted with the Law of Moses.

There is no evidence that Adam and Eve ever celebrated the Sabbath.

The first instruction from God to the Hebrew people to observe the Sabbath appears in Exodus 16:27, when the Hebrew people were wandering in the desert after having escaped from Egyptian captivity and starting to doubt and be disobedient to God. Therefore Hebrews have been worshipping God for centuries without observing the Sabbath.

The second command from God is seen in Exodus 23:12. Both passages were written by Moses circa 1491 BCE. No evidence the Sabbath was observed before then by previous Prophets.

Furthermore, there are 613 laws obligatory for Israelites, yet according to Judaism, not all Israelites have to follow these laws, for example, of those 613 Laws, only certain ones apply to certain tribes of Israelites, the Levi tribe only follows certain parts of the 613 Laws, as well as the Cohen tribe following different sets of the Commandments.

Different laws apply to different types and tribes of Jews. Similarly, Jewish Muslims follow the Quranic Commandments, identical to the Ten commandments of Moses, without the false associations made by Bible editors.

    Sabbath in the Bible

Similar to the Muslim form of the Sabbath, the Bible lists a Function of the Sabbath is to have a Religious Assembly. Congregating on the Sabbath is commanded by God in Leviticus:
    # Leviticus 23:1-3 1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Say to the people of Israel, The appointed feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, my appointed feasts, are these. 3 Six days shall work be done; but on the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no work; it is a sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.

The Hebrew word for convocations is migra, meaning a calling (together), according to Young’s Analytical Concordance. Migra is the Hebrew word used in Leviticus 23:4-44 for all the holy convocations commanded for the High Sabbaths also.

Another similarity is Leviticus 23:32, the Day of Atonement is defined as a Sabbath. Islam also believes that Friday is a day for attaining atonement more than any other day of the week:

The Holy Prophet Muhammad said : “The day of Friday has been exalted and conferred many rights. Therefore do not be negligent of your duty. Do not be tardy in your worship this day. Try to attain nearness to Allah by performing pure deeds and refraining from the prohibited things, because this day Allah increases the reward for good deeds and obliterates the sins. Allah raises the position of the believer in the world and the Hereafter.”

Yet the Israelites considered the Sabbath a curse as pointed out in Amos 8:4-6 4

“Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?”

Israelites disobeying the Sabbath was also documented in Nehemiah 13:16

“Men of Tyre also, who lived in the city, brought in fish and all kinds of wares and sold them on the sabbath to the people of Judah, and in Jerusalem.”
The Sabbath that was issued to the rebellious Hebrews with Moses became an unbearable restraint towards the Bounties of God to the Israelites, then they were forgiven.

    Sabbath in the Quran

“O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): That is best for you if ye but knew! ” 62:09

The curse of financial confinement is forgivingly removed upon embracing Islam while the substance and content of the Sabbath is in place, the merciful removal of the restriction from God’s bounty is specified in the following verse:

“And when the Prayer is finished, then may ye disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that ye may prosper. ” 62:10

An example in the Bible of God no longer desiring Israelis to follow the Sabbath is:

    Isaiah 1:10-15

” Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of assemblies–I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; they have become a burden to me, I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.”

Here we see how God depending on the Actions of the Jews, changes His relationship with the Jews, similar to being exiled from Israel and being returned to Israel.

With this in mind, the Quran Sabbath is understood as a Merciful Sabbath. Though there is still a Punishment for Breaking the Sabbath.

“The punishment for profaning the Sabbath was imposed only on those who had differed about it and thy Lord will surely judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they differed.” Quran 16:124

The words penalty and punishment at the beginning of the verse are supplied by the translators, because they are implied in the word ju’ila. The meaning of the verse is that there is a punishment for Sabbath-breaking, but it is to be carried out on upon those who dispute the obligation to keep the Sabbath. Furthermore, it is concluded from this text, that no punishment for Sabbath-breaking is to be carried out before the Day of Judgment.

This is another excellent illustration of how the Quran complements and completes the Bible. In the Bible we are faced with two complications regarding Sabbath breaking. The first is that the punishment for Sabbath-breaking is death. In practice, this is not carried out in the current age. Christ showed by his example how the legislation of the Torah was to be interpreted. He did not as Christianity claims abrogate it.

The second Friction is that there is no provision for delaying the Sabbath. If there is something to prevent Sabbath observance on the seventh day, there is no provision in the Torah or any other Scripture for putting it off to the following day, as there is for the Passover, for example, which under certain conditions may be observed in the following month. This means that there are occasions when the intention to observe the Sabbath cannot always be carried out perfectly. If something arises which was unforeseen and unintended, the Sabbath cannot be delayed to the following day.

It has to remain as it is, whether or not its observance turned out to be as was intended. Therefore, the punishment is meted out upon those who dispute the obligation. Those who made the proper intention to observe the Sabbath, but whose observance for unforeseen reasons did not match their intention, are not punished for Sabbath-breaking.

    Conclusion

Prior to scientific knowledge of earth formation, or scholarly Bible criticism, the Holy Quran in 632 AD, has purged the man made editing in the Bible and in swift concise Words, Bestowing upon us the proper date, time, and intention of the Sabbath as well as conscientious judgement for Sabbath breakers.

Hi, This page is extremely helpful and fun to read. I am a huge follower of the things blogged about. I also love reading the comments, but it seems like a great deal of readers need to stay on topic to try and add something to the original topic. I would also encourage all of you to bookmark this page to your most used service to help get the word out. Thanks
