Awarded to Rick Warren--Faux-Pastor

NC States: Rick Warren gets the dhimmi award of the month!  He is a post modern social club leader calling himself a pastor and all that, that implies.  He is an apostate, denying the Faith to Muslims, and leading people straight to Hell!  What fellowship does Light (YHVH and His Followers) have with darkness (Hasatan and his followers, pagan moon god worshippers)?   Warren lacks Scriptural understanding to realize that Islam and its prophet mohammad (MHBIHF) is a counterfeit of Torah, Haf Torah and the Renewed Covenant.  Anyone following Warren should be warned to run from him as soon as possible! Islam IS NOT and NEVER HAS BEEN part of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob but instead jealous, whiners who refuse to repent!

Rick Warren calls for Christian-Muslim partnership

by Sarah Karush

WASHINGTON, DC – Defying some of his fellow conservative Christian critics, one of the most prominent religious leaders in the country told several thousand American Muslims on Saturday that “the two largest faiths on the planet” must work together to combat stereotypes and solve global problems.

“Some problems are so big you have to team tackle them,” evangelical megachurch pastor Rick Warren addressed the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).

Warren said Muslims and Christians should be partners in working to end what he calls “the five global giants” of war, poverty, corruption, disease, and illiteracy.

Warren, founder of Saddleback Community Church in Orange County, California, is the author of The Purpose Driven Life, which has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide. His willingness to show support for U.S. Muslims is a huge gain for the community, which has endured intense scrutiny since 9/11.

A Southern Baptist, Warren has a record of upsetting fellow Christian conservatives by calling old-guard evangelical activists too partisan and narrowly focused. Ahead of his speech Saturday, bloggers who follow Warren had already denounced his appearance at the convention as cozying up to extremists.

NC Sez: Yeah,  Warren insults true Scripture Believers,  and then expects them to follow his lead in dialoguing with the enemy!  That’s real leadership Warren!

Warren acknowledged the controversy during his 20-minute speech.

“It’s easier to be an extremist of any kind because then you only have one group of people mad at you,” he said. “But if you actually try to build relationships — like invite an evangelical pastor to your gathering — you’ll get criticized for it. So will I.”

In his speech, Warren also urged Muslims and Christians to speak out against stereotyping of any group and to respect each other even while disagreeing. Addressing Muslims who “have been in America for many generations now,” he urged them to help “the newcomers learn what it means to be American.”

Based in Plainfield, Indiana, ISNA is an umbrella organization for Muslim groups across the country. The annual convention, now in its 46th year, regularly draws more than 30,000 people for lectures, prayer, and socializing.

Many in the crowd were drawn to the session by prominent Muslim scholars such as Sheik Hamza Yusuf of the Zaytuna Institute in Berkeley, California.

Ann Zahra, 42, said she had never heard of Warren before Saturday but agreed with much of his speech. ”The basics are the same,” said Zahra, of McLean, Va. “No religion teaches cruelty or disrespect or hatred.”

NC Sez:  Ah-huh!  Except for the so called religion of peace!

We should merge our faiths together in a great big glowing ball of peace and brotherhood. Pastor Ricky and his porpoise driven church have made great advances in their outreach program, soon we’ll be as one.

After all……..we worship the same g-d. (George said that)

This is precisely the problem with worldly ecumenicism. It denies Truth, and as a result it denies genuine Faith. It is impossible to have Faith without Truth. To withhold the Truth of the Word of YHWH from those who deny it or are ignorant of it is to do them harm, and is certainly NOT the Love of God. Ricky may be applauded and considered ‘tolerant’ by the postmodern Truth-deniers, but by denying the Truth of the only means of Salvation through the Word of YHWH, he is only enabling Falsehood and Darkness to continue to dwell within the Minds and Souls of Millions of Muslims. When someone such as Warren has such a rare opportunity to speak the Truth to millions of Muslims walking in Darkness, he will have to give account to YHWH for such a dereliction of duty in the failure to preach the good news of Redemption. It will not be well with his soul unless he repents.

    The logic is this:
If the message of Salvation through the atoning death, burial, and resurrection of the Messiah Yahshuah is necessary to be preached to us as believers, and is effective in bringing us to Reconciliation and Atonement with YHWH, why would it not be necessary to also preach this same message of Redemption to anyone else? Are we not all of the same Human DNA? Are not all men fallen into Sin and all in need of Redemption by our Creator?

The Scriptures of YHWH and our Declaration of Independence teach us that all men are created equal, and also the Bible teaches and Natural Law shows that no man is without Sin, and that all men have fallen short of the Perfect Standard of the Creator. It necessarily follows then that our Creator YHWH must, according to His Merciful and Righteous Character, also provide the Universal Means for the necessary Redemption from the Curse of Sin common to all Men.

The next question is whether this Means of Redemption is part of the Creation, or rather is it of the very Nature and Being of the Creator YHWH? Are there many paths to God, Or only One way to God? Does God need any help from His Creation in order to effect Redemption for Man, or is YHWH sufficient in His own Being to effect Salvation for all Men?

In Isaiah 59:1,16-17 we read that the arm of YHWH is NOT too short to save. This means that the Means of Salvation IS of YHWH, and NOT of His Creation. It also means that this Means of Salvation is One, and not many, since YHWH is One. Therefore the Divine Means of Redemption and Salvation MUST be the same for all the seed of Adam, regardless of culture or ethnicity. To assert otherwise is to imply that some descendants of Adam are of a different species than others, which is patently absurd, since it is declared in Genesis 1 that all flesh reproduces after its own kind.
