They are trying to “rehabilitate Reichert” in the eyes of the conservatives.

I knew that he did this betrayal early enough so if he did choose to run as a Republican he will be forgiven.

So, how do others feel. Got to vote for the “R” is going to be the name of the game in 2010. Look, I hate what Obama is doing but re-electing Reichert isn’t going to move things forward in our direction in the long term.

Isn’t that what we learned from the so-called Republican Revolution/Republican House (1995-2007)!

It’s obvious that the GOP leadership doesn’t get it. I just worry the rest of us don’t get it either.

The Republican party as it currently stands is part of the problem. Support them and you are my enemy just as much as any Democrat. Either the Republican Party has to have a revolution from within (and up to this point the only change I have seen is going even further left) or we need to find a party that really would support conservative principles not only as a rhetorical device to get themselves elected but to actually put it in practice in public policy.

I fear that most “conservatives” will in the end support the re-election of Reichert. Oh, you will have a few who won’t but I mean the majority.

Bush ➪ Clinton ➪ Bush ➪ Clinton (well Obama but lots of the people from his adminstration came from the Clinton adminstration including of course the Sec of State) ➪ Bush (In the form of at least right now most likely Romney).

Until you understand the significance of this pattern and the importance of the “Bush” part of the pattern (in solidifying the gains of the previous “Clinton/Obama” admininstation and in preparing the way for the future “Clinton/Obama” adminstration) you will not understand how ANYONE who works to continue the pattern is indeed an enemy of liberty. A new “Bush” adminstartion is far worse than a continuation of this Obama one because it “turns the water down” (al la the Frog in the boiling water analogy).

Supporting Reichert is evil and I will hate anyone who does so probably EVEN MORE than I would someone who supports an evil Democrat.
