Obama Requires YOU to SERVE, H.R.1388, “The Give Act” to reform the National Service HR 1388, will hit the House floor on Tuesday. It is called the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act (The Give Act.) The House is scheduled to Rule this week. Sponsored by Democrat Representative Carolyn McCarthy (NY), Education and Labor Committee. The objective is to reauthorize and reform the national service laws.

The Government has the right to require individuals to give 3 years service under the guise of “volunteer” service. It talks about uniforms and “camps.” They revise the word “camps” and call it “campus.” There is also language about Seniors and Community organizations.

Data on the cost of health care for unauthorized immigrants is hard to come by, because community clinics and hospitals usually do not ask patients for their immigration status. But the Pew Hispanic Center estimates that about 59 percent of the 11.9 million illegal immigrants living in the United States have no health insurance, making up about 15 percent of the nation’s approximately 47 million uninsured.

Tea Parties Largely Ignored by Media
Since CNBC’s Rick Santelli first suggested a Chicago Tea Party to protest President Obama’s plans to “stimulate” the economy and bailout homeowners through unrestrained government spending, organized demonstrations have been occurring across the fruited plain.
In fact, as Glenn Reynolds reported moments ago, there’s one happening today in Cincinnati.
Unfortunately, unless you frequent conservative websites, you’d have no idea that such events were being staged.
…don’t feel embarrassed for these have gone almost totally ignored.
For instance, with the exception of Fox News and CNN, no major television outlet has covered even one of these events except the original proposed by Santelli on February 19.
Compare that to how these networks practically fell all over themselves to report war protests after the public’s opinion changed concerning Iraq in late 2003.
As for print, Tea Parties have been completely ignored by the Washington Post, USA Today, the Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
I guess Americans protesting the president’s policies just isn’t newsworthy when there’s a Democrat in the White House.

It is known that people are often drawn to and “turned on” to wrong and dangerous things. This is why jails are filled with drug users/distributors, rapists, molesters and serial killers.
To suggest that one day our society should accept a dangerous and wrong activity, even celebrate it should be laughed at.
Today this is what we’re seeing.
“Homosexuality” is, by its very nature an act of being “turned on” by the wrong thing. The fact that something is wrong and dangerous is well known to attract many people to engage in it. We know it’s wrong, we know it’s dangerous but we do it because it feels good. It’s no secret that, often with human sexual issues, the largest factor of it feeling good to us is the fact that it’s so obviously wrong. Wrong can be a turn on, and it often is.
Celebrating and promoting obviously wrong and dangerous behaviors cannot and will not precipitate good results over time. “Gay marriage” is a celebration of a dangerous sexual practice and is an oxymoron whether some America citizens, politicians, or judges think otherwise or not. The truth doesn’t change just because confusion becomes prevalent.
This will help confuse people far into the future. Sickening.

Today HR 1388, the forced “Volunteerism” bill passed the house 321 to 105. The day that the American Congress would ever MANDATE volunteerism to the American citizen is the day this Country ceases to be a great nation. According to the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution:
1. Neither slavery nor INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, SHALL EXIST within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Congress ONLY has power to ENFORCE this amendment NOT pass bills to allow INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE!
Do not support the senate version of this unconstitutional bill!
