Americans are too creative & innovative for universal health care
Update: Dick Morris piece on the Obamunist’s health care plan
Part I
PART II
by Tracy at No Compromises
AMERICANS: We DO NOT have to lose our Constitutional Rights, State’s Rights, Freedom, or hard earned money to create a system of healthcare that WORKS! We CAN have all of that, and have a working health care system without bankrupting the country and further enslaving our children to an even larger national debt!
Furthermore, the only thing that is certain is death and taxes, and if the government gets their hands on YOUR health you will pay tons of taxes, and risk dying under their system til death do you part! Lies, damn lies and statistics are used to lie to the public because so few people actually understand statistics except statisticians, and furthermore, most people don’t understand that correlation DOES NOT MEAN causation!
Tell me: Don’t you already complain enough about the massive and incompetent federal government? Since, even you notice that it doesn’t ever benefit the American taxpayer, but instead only benefits those in government power? Then why do people gravitate to thinking that only government can create, and sustain a health care system that will ensure insurance and health care for all? Where is this thinking coming from? Could it be the big government business of public eduKation?
The United States spends $2.1 trillion on health care, roughly 16 percent of the gross domestic product. Additionally, government is responsible for approximately 50 cents out of every dollar spent on heath care because of the huge and rapidly growing government health care programs: Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, and state and public health care programs. The result of so much government control is that health care is one of the most highly regulated sectors of the American economy. Government financing means government control, and government control means less personal freedom. – Heritage Foundation
Joyce Seymour, a writer for The Business and Media Institute, reports in an 2007 piece that top leaders from President Bush, all the current presidential candidates, and the mainstream media outlets are ALL getting it wrong on the stats regarding the so called health care crisis.
She states, “Each of these people [presidential candidates] and media outlets incorrectly claimed the number of uninsured to be 40 to 50 million Americans. The actual total is open to debate. But there are millions of people who should be excluded from that tally, including: those who aren’t American citizens, people who can afford their own insurance, and people who already qualify for government coverage but haven’t signed up.”
This is not hard folks. Let me break it down for you: There are about 300 million people in America. The US Census Bureau reports from, “the initial number of uninsured people living in the country at 46.577 million”, continues Seymour.
However, on closer inspection the census report states that this number also includes nearly 10 million NON-Citizens aka illegals thus dropping this figure to roughly 37 million uninsured people. Even this number doesn’t account for those who are transitioning from job to job.
So what’s this SUPPOSED crisis really about? It’s about an agenda of cradle to grave government Kontrol over YOU and every part of your life! It’s about Marxists who have always had their sights on America, and our republican form of government. It’s about a group of people who think YOU are so stupid that you can’t manage your own life when the facts are that there are people out there who don’t care for themselves, but THIS DOES NOT TRANSLATE into ALL of us not being able to care for our families and ourselves better than government can.
There is not a single person in this country who goes without health care at some level. It’s against federal law for any person to be denied care, and that, unfortunately includes illegals who are more than welcome to go back to where they came from, and get the health care from their own country which will cut costs for hospitals across this country!
Government has mismanaged the Veteran’s Administration, Medicare, Medicaid, prescription drugs, Social Security, just to name a few; and we, the VOTERS, are even considering handing the entire health care system over to the government? Are you kidding? Are we really THAT crazy?
Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, put it well, when he said, “The government can’t deliver voting machines on time. How will they deliver your heart or kidney on time?”
Considering that governments have a much greater concern that voters be able to vote for deceiving politicians than they do about your average citizen’s vital organs, this should cause us all to pause and have second thoughts about handing over such control over our lives.
Why would we, as free thinking and innovative people, allow ourselves to sink to the archaic, and Kommunist plans of government run health care? Why would we do that? The American Citizen is the most innovative, productive, and capable person on planet earth, and it is the American Citizen who can fix any problem, even health care problems and be the leader of health care for other countries to follow!
Innovative thinking is what America needs to fix any problem we have, and in the health care industry ideas such as patient centered, consumer based markets are key ideas that need more discussion, and get us closer to a successful health care system.
“In a consumer-centered health system, individuals directly control the flow of dollars, buy and own their own health plans, pick the kinds of coverage that they want, and determine which plans offer them the best value,” states Edmund F. Haislmaier, Senior Research Fellow in Health Policy Studies, Domestic Policy.
As a reminder to our more progressive readers, the only thing government is good at is expanding itself; to Keep itself in business. It can’t Kreate jobs, it can’t Kompete, or Keep its’ Kosts down with good service for repeat business. It can only expand as its own self interest dictates.
BaracK Hussein Obama has a plan to keep us in the dark ages, the same ole cock-an-bull story that universal health care is the only way to fix a supposed broken system! A plan that will inevitably banKrupt the American economy, take away your Rights, and to remove the Constitutionally protected State’s Rights, all to Kontrol your life while keeping the government in the growth business while Kontrolling everything private business, and individuals already do for themselves!
In his fearmongering BluePrint Plan for Change to America, Obama uses the inflated number of 47 million people without health coverage, never sourcing his information; and laying out a plan that no Utopian Society can afford unless we cough up 80% of our income to taxes.
And just as a small tiny point of logic, Obama can trust us to vote for him, but he can’t trust us, the American public, to decide for OURSELVES against Kommunist health care coverage? PuhLeeeze!
How is it that Kommies, Socialists, Progressives, and Liberals can’t see that the government multi-trillion dollar public skool system is a bust, and now they think they can create this new health care system, and it will magically turn out alright? Gosh, when does this denial of Reality end? Maybe it’s not about a denial of Reality, but a movement of Kontrol freaks trained to assault individual liberty and to take away this republican form of government. I can find no other explanation for it.
Is our current system in need of innovation and renewal? YES! We can always improve any system. But is it broken like these naysayers want you to believe? NO!
There is a hidden agenda, and it’s to control you from cradle to grave. I will leave you to read his RedPrint Plan to Destroy America. Suffice it to say, that his plan is taken right out of Planks 2, 4, 6, and 10 of the Kommie Manifesto.
This so called plan will place upon the taxpayer a heavy and progressive income tax to pay for it. Your wages are YOUR property which Plank #4 is the confiscation of ALL of your property. Having government health care is a centralization of health care which is plank #6, and plank #10 calls for free education which you can replace with the words “free health care”. America is NOT a centralized form of government, but a Federal Republic form of government with three branches, and the states who have their own sets of Rights.
If I am wrong about my observation on the Obamunist’s plan for the further destruction of this great country, then show me how a universal health care program is supported by a Republic form of government. As I review my Constitution, I just don’t see where it is our government’s duty to take care of my individual, and family health care needs, or my insurance needs, any more than it is NOT their constitutional duty to take care of feeding and clothing me, and my family.
Thus far, Kongress has already violated our republic form of government and Constitution doing what they have already done.
Bottom line is this: If the government would get out of the way of the free American Citizen and the Free Enterprise system, this problem, as well as our energy problem, would be settled in no time flat. How do I know that? Because the Free Enterprise system ALLOWS the free flow of ideas. A government system devoid of heavy taxes and burdensome regulation for brainiacs to do what they do best creates the best products, and service the world has ever seen. Kontrol only Kontrols and restricts people! It never creates the free flow of anything! It only hinders and stops growth and real change!

You are correct in your analysis. I’ posted in the past of the ‘numbers’ game that is played, trying to include illegal aliens in on all the ‘funding’ that you and I do.
The ‘government’ hasn’t done one thing better than private companies could do it. Health care will be a disaster. The government has already been screwing up medicine inch-by-inch. Don’t know if you remember or knew, but hubby is a physician. we had a private practice for years (I worked in the office some, doing insurance, etc.)
The paperwork the government requires, the ‘permissions’ you must get before hospitalizing a patient, and the pitiful reimbursements … sometimes maybe ten cents on a dollar. People thing doctors are rolling in bucks, but when you deal with the government (Medicare, TennCare, etc.) it’s not what people think. About 1/4 of the people never bother to pay their bills, but we didn’t care if it was children or elderly, we treated them anyway.
He works strictly Emergency Room now, purely to get out from under the constraints of private practice. He goes in, works his hours, sees his patients, and somebody else has to worry with collecting the money and doing the paperwork.
He’s not alone in this, doctors, nurses, hospitals are being affected. People are not going into the medical profession like the previously did, or at least that’s my understanding.
Wow, Debbie~
I didn’t know your husband was a doctor. It doesn’t surprise me one bit to hear this story. Regulations will kill this country, but isn’t that the point? The commies hate freedom and independent thought and will not stop until this Republic is no more!
Americans MUST get a clue and start to fight back for their freedom.
Thanks for sharing.
Sure, turn the “creative innovative” health care providers loose without regulations–let them think of more ideas to capture as many of the health care dollars as possible.
Forget about the millions of people who are uninsured and underinsured–people who can’t afford the exorbitant cost of medical care. Forget about the public who sees their premiums escalate because of the lack of accountability of physicians and ancillary providers for the gross and blatant medically unnecessary procedures, diagnostics, and self referrals to entities in which they have a financial interest.
Sure, no regulations! Provide as much service as you pleae, “insurance pays for it.” Don’t worry about the abuse, just raise the premiums, co-pay and deductible.

Sure, turn the government bureaucraps loose without any constraints, or restrictions on their regulating powers–let them think of more ideas to capture as many of the tax dollars as possible.
Forget about the millions of people who are controlled by government who can’t afford to pay the exorbitant cost of big government. Forget about the public who sees their taxes escalating on their dwindling paychecks and their inflated fiat curracy, and the govt’s unaccountable and infinite lust for any more power than they already have!
Sure, no constitutional restrictions on bureaucraps and politicians! Provide as much bull crap as they please, “because taxes pay it.” Don’t worry about the abuse, just raise taxes, fees, and unfunded mandates, user fees, license and registration fees etc., etc., etc.,
Question: How do you leap from me saying that the American people are creative and innovative enough to solve any problem we face >>>>> to me saying I am calling for no regulations when I did no such thing at all? How do you make that leap? However, I can see how you want no Constitutional boundaries, regulations, and restrictions on these knucklehead, power hungry, and lying politicians and bureaucraPs! I can certainly see that. Because of gov’t is why we are having trouble in the energy and health care sector, not because of the creators and innovators! There is a difference between over regulation to business and over regulation of business! Yeah, you do write fiction!
A quote from Shakespeare in Hamlet seems appropriate here: “The lady (or man) doth protest too much, methinks.)
What about a comment on medication errors in our present system that kill 18,ooo patients and injure 1,500,000 others annually?
charlesclarknovels
Yes, you kommies do protest too much, and fearmonger as well. You are looking for a Utopian Society, a Nanny state, womb to the tomb care, where no one dies of anything and the gub’ment takes cares of your every need. LOL!
Wow! 1.5 mill, huh? You want to source this info? Wikipedia doesn’t count as a reliable source either!
Here’s some REAL stats for you instead of the made up one you gave~
Auto Accident Facts:
There were an estimated 6,420,000 cars involved in accidents in the US in 2005. The cost of these accidents exceeds 230+ Billion dollars. There were about 2.9 million injury cases and 42,636 car accident deaths. An average of 115 persons die each day in motor vehicle crashes in the United States — one every 13 minutes. According to the World Health Organization about 3000 people die in crashes each day worldwide.
Gee, so I guess we ought to get rid of cars.
More people die in fires in the US than any other place in the world. I guess we should stop using fire. Ban matches and lighters, too, so as to save lives!
36,000 Americans die from drinking booze–let’s ban booze! About 36,000 people die each year from Flu.–let’s ban the flu!
Type of accident How many a year Average freq.
In hospital 90,000
One American dies in a hospital from a medical error or a lethal infection every 6 minutes–
Medical error or lethal infection or bad drug interaction–Yes, we can improve, but gub’ment who actually approves the drugs are are part of the problem. This will get worse with gub’ment health care.
Transport 43,443
One American killed by a traffic accident every 12 minutes—Let’s ban cars and motorcycles–you libs would love that!
Poisoning 19,457
One American accidentally poisoned to death every 27 minutes–Let’s ban all poisons!
At home 18,048
One American killed in an accident at home every 29 minutes —Let’s ban homes and supply each person with a gub’ment home!
Falls 17,227–Let’s ban ladders! and High buildings, too!
One American killed in a fall every 31 minutes
Drunk driving 16,885 –Let’s ban booze!
One American killed by a drunk driver every 31 minutes
Homicide 16,137–Let’s ban killers–oh, no you libs demand we have compassion on these guys, they must live!
One American murdered every 32 minutes
Drowning 3,306–Let’s ban rivers, lakes, streams, and bathtubs!
One American drowned every 159 minutes

Here’s one stat you libs do like–49+ million unborn babies have been slaughtered since Roe v Wade, or 48oo unborn babies each year are killed by lethal injection of poison, or suction abortion every day! Let’s ban abortion!
Let’s ban ALL death!
I think I’ll just quit and go back to blogging and campaigning for immigrant amnesty–a lot more productive. I reach a few compassionate souls that way.
Oh … I made a mistake: the death rate from medication errors is estimated to 98,000 annually by the National Coordinating Council for Medication Error Reporting. But that is a government agency–probably not reliable.
On the other hand, I guess I’d better just focus on my job as a medical director of a large hospital system, try to improve quality of care, and leave the rhetoric to the near-sighted conservatives.
charlesclarknovels
okay, you go back to campaigning for immigrant amnesty for illegals who are burdening our health care system! Yes, you did give a bad stat.
What’s productive is to understand that Americans are creative and innovative and can fix our problems! Your voice is impt, but not to expand government and create a nanny state, but to expand the knowledge base to improve the private system we already have! Thanks for your input.
Did you see the Bunk study stating 2/3 of doctors in America want National Health Care. The doctors who did this study also conducted one in 2002 and found that the majority of doctors did not want national health care, the problem with this is that the 2 question surveys drastically differ in there 2nd question. I found this article, 60% of Physicians Surveyed Oppose Switching to a National Health Care Plan, It’s worth a read.
Thank you Matt, and welcome to No Compromise. I read the piece.
Isn’t it interesting that Communists have to hide and lie what they’re doing? If Communism is such a great way to run a country, and control people then why hide what one is doing to push this Nation towards that system?
It’s amazing to me. I am quite nervous that because Americans are not as educated and or they are too busy to pay attention that they will buy this “progressive” push for socialism, and America will be no more within 50 years!
If it’s not Islamism we are fighting, it’s communism we are fighting!
