Funeral services–both Christian and Muslim–were held Saturday in Dallas for murdered teen sisters Sarah and Amina Yaser Said. Their father, wanted for capital murder in the case, remains on the loose. Dallas Morning News reports on family reaction–including remarks from the girls’ mother, brother, and great-aunt, who is convinced that the double slayings are honor killings and detailed the daughters’ abuse at the hands of the father:
Before the service, the girls’ mother and brother issued a public appeal for Mr. Said to surrender. Patricia Said said her husband needed to be brought to justice so that her “girls can rest in peace.” She said that she and her son would remain in hiding until her husband is captured.
“I just want him to pay for what he did to my girls,” Mrs. Said said.
Islam Said has previously disputed widespread rumors and media reports that his Muslim father’s religion may have been the reason for the killings. Some have speculated that the deaths may have been “honor killings,” a practice in which a man kills a female relative who he believes has somehow shamed the family.
Patricia Said mourned the loss of her daughters at a Baptist service Saturday at Rahma Funeral Home.
Irving police have said that they are exploring all possible motives for the slayings. Police have acknowledged that the family had some previous domestic problems.
Gail Gartrell, the sisters’ great-aunt, said Saturday that Mr. Said had physically abused the two girls for years. Around Christmas, the girls’ mother – Ms. Gartrell’s niece – had fled because of Mr. Said’s threats to kill the girls after he learned they had boyfriends, she said.
“She ran with them because she knew he would carry out the threat,” Ms. Gartrell said. “This was an honor killing.”
She said her niece returned after Mr. Said told her that he would move out so they could reconcile. Within a few days, she said, the girls were dead.
The Ft. Worth Star Telegram also reveals details about the missing father’s marriage to the girls’ mother. They married when she was 15 and he was 30:
Details emerged Thursday about the days leading up to the fatal shootings of the Lewisville teens, who were found Tuesday evening in a taxi that police believe was driven by their father.
Patricia Said and her daughters quit their jobs at a Kroger grocery store in Lewisville just before Christmas, a company spokesman said.
Patricia and Yaser Said were wed in February 1987 when she was 15 and he was 30, Tarrant County marriage records show. The two have had addresses in Euless, Bedford, Grand Prairie and Arlington, public records indicate.
Yaser Abdel Said filed a missing-person report Dec. 26. He hoped police would help track down his wife, according to a report by KDFW/Channel 4.
The incident marked one of the domestic problems that investigators believe may have led to the killings of Sarah and Amina Said.
Friends of the girls have said their father didn’t approve of them dating.

An ideologist as you here see Fjordman does certainly not understand reality; or it is simply not his intentions to do so as far as I can judge. In a Libetarian’s limited vector-space of a certain number of variables culture and religion for example may have no impacts on the teoretical model – mostly because they have not found suitable ways to measure the possible teoretically impacts from religion and culture in a meaningful way. For example reality then has been drawn psychedelically in the model, and thereby perhaps it replaces real life, but this does not matter, as long the model of life definitely has priority one. And that is the point: Next to perhaps the well-being of the ideological followers, death (to the dissidents) gets priority number two.
Take welfare as an explicit example from reality today but evolved/developed from an pure ideological concept by substituting wealth for welfare:
You cannot talk about a taxfinanced welfare in a society without allowing fertility to drop, and as an implication of this also accept the distribution of ages to change, if you base your model of more than 1-2 generations. The selfishness in the ideological top http://danmark.wordpress.com/2006/06/14/top-and-buttom/ has been described, and don’t ever believe this selfishness range at a lower priority than one. It is easy to make another priority in the model of life, but it is impossible to go on for more two generations on ideological agenda in reality once it has stepped into reality. All ideologies have the same ends in both theory and reality: Joined happiness for the camp followers and death to the dissidents. All ideologists Fjordman included are bound to express their potential warnings against things they have not understood themselves, because they do not allow logic to enter before ideology. You could with Soeren Kierkegaard claim essense before existense to correct them.
Islam, a lot of Libertarians and a lot of multicultural Internationalists are still on that same lime twig.

Everything is over looked in the culture of death. Moslem men in Arabic nations are groomed to hate their mothers and later their wives and daughters. It is natural their daughters would would fall in love with western culture and want to date and search for happiness.
There was a Palestinian girl named Isa in St. Louis. She loved America also. One day she came back from Roosevelt High School and her mother held back her arms while her father stabbed her to death for dating an American. FBI was monitoring her house cause her father had connections to terrorism but the FBI had no Arabic speaker and found out the reason for her death 7 months later.
How can president George of the Jungle Bush be so stupid as to push this phony Middle-East peace upon the nation of Israel when Israel has to deal with such serial killers?
George is not stupid; George has been bought by the Saudis a long time ago. George celebrated Ramadan in the White House in October 2007. George delayed the launch of Israel’s spy satelite. George says before he is out of office he will cram the Roadmap to Peace (Highway to Hell) down Israel’s throat.
George has lowered USA’s border security by having two Mexican-American border guards arrested for shooting a Mexican national drug dealer. Border guards are afraid to arrest anyone violating our border cause George will arrest them.
George wants to destroy the security of the United States and Israel, so his friends Tony Blair and Nicolas Sarkozy can build the New World Order where all men are slaves. EU constitution has the word God omitted from its foundation, EU members are appointed not elected, EU’s permanent members equal 10 nations with maximum voting power just like the Jewish prophets warned us about the 10 kings in Daniel 7:24 & Revelation 17:12. W.E.U. has exactly 10 PERMANENT members in charge of the rotating EU presidency until June 2009 when the 10 nations elect all full time president.
Bush will able to crash the USA economy before he leaves office on January 20, 2009.

What did Saudi Arabia on 911 send us? 15 Saudi terrorists who killed 3000 Americans.
